Choices
You have the power to choose what you allow into your life. If you choose to keep positive thoughts, they become positive actions that leads to a positive pattern of behavior. The same goes for negative thoughts. What you choose determines where you end up.

Thank you for this important reminder Kelly! My outer and inner world is all about my thoughts, sometimes though thoughts can be really hard to reframe or to challenge. I like to share something that helps me.
- When negative thoughts are really loud I start self talk, my inner coach comes out and asks questions like for example "Is this really true?" "Is it always like this?" "How can I see this differently?"
- If they remain loud I change to doing something physical, exercise usually helps very well to let out negative energy and clear the mind.
- When there is less negative energy in the body and I am able to sit still I start doing a meditation.
After these steps I think about a plan what to do best if required but very often at that point my perception has already changed and the problem which looked like an elephant became now more like mouse size 😀
I hope this helps someone who is reading it.
I think the negative thoughts can also lead to positive actions!
@AffyAvo I have had negative thinking motivate me to get out of those thoughts and take positive actions, but can you give an example that illustrates what you mean?
@KellyBrastMA thank you for these insights.
I also think we can choose if and how we react to situations and people and that can lead to a more positivie outcome. The less I react, the happier I seem to be.
@KellyBrastMA I try to stay and think positive. But it's hard sometimes
@KellyBrastMA You're right.
In Ideal World:
Our thoughts have a significant impact on our actions and behaviors. Choosing positive thoughts can lead to positive outcomes while dwelling on negativity can hold us back.
Reality Check:
Unfortunately, we must accept the fact that negativity surrounds us like smog. I've experienced, and now I meet or see or hear about, the people living in such a negative and hostile environment or judgmental people where positivity can't be sustained, just like a water droplet on a plastic sheet.
A compassionate method:
It's essential to be mindful of our thought patterns and actively work towards cultivating a positive mindset. It may not be easy, especially when dealing with depression and anxiety, but it's a step towards improving overall well-being. Keep striving for positivity, and remember that seeking support and professional guidance can be incredibly helpful on this journey.
"Finally, avoid becoming the type of person you dislike in others. Also, refrain from seeking revenge."
