- How would you describe your favorite holiday treats?
At the moment I love mince pies but I do them without alcohol, stevia instead of sugar and chia seeds along with dried fruit.
It's such a pleasing experience to bite through the crunchy crust into the soft filling, tasting the flavors from cloves, cinnamon and ginger and the various dried fruit. A real treat for me 😀

Brown butter choclate chip cookies, when they bake right.

Choclate chip cookies with butter thar is cooked on the stove that is added to the butter, with choclate chips and dark choclate added to them. They're delicious when they don't burn. Brown butter sugar cookies sound delicious @soulsings.

I also love plain oatmeal cookies.

I just take Christmas as an opportunity to binge eat crisps!

yes I loove crisps! I've never tried lentil ones before though, my favourite would definitely be sensations sweet thai chilli! they're delicious 😍

Banana pudding!!! Oh my goodness. It is so good! We put graham crackers and banana slices and pudding! It is so good! My family has been making it for so long, my great grandma made it ever since my mom was a kid.
I also like sugar cookies, but not with a lot of frosting lol.
Ohh! And apple pie! For my birthday and my mom offers to buy or make a dessert, im asking for apple pie, not cake lol.

Such a timely question ⭐️ I enjoy drinking warm cup of hot chocolate with a good oatmeal or chocolate chip cookie ☕️🍪. Really helps to warm up when it is cold outside brrr...❄️

Lol, I hear you. I try all sorts of mental hacks (bright colored clothing, going to hot yoga, etc.) to get thru the winter :)
@Espejo I did hot yoga in the winter but it was too much in the summer! Covid shut that place down unfortunately.

That's unfortunate. I remember doing hot yoga in the summer too and it was too much. I had to step out to get a breather lol. Do you live in the US? If so CorePower is a decent franchise that has locations in many cities :) If not I find that an electric blanket also helps me get thru the cold nights :)

@soulsings My grandmothers made them too. I loved helping with that and eating the raw cookie dough as I went along. Lol. I'm still a cookie dough addict!
