I do not cave into negative emotions that are so compelling that they try to grab my attention and "grab the microphone" so to speak. They make a mountain out of a mole hill. I feel better about myself when I do stand on solid ground and do not cave in to those.

@soulsings I feel more couragous everyday. I'm realising I'm not as weak as I appear. Just waking up with a smile on my face ready to face the day. That's what makes me couragous ❤
@Tinywhisper11 a smile in your heart is stronger than any negative thought or feeling.
......when I notice an injustice or a lack of respect, I can't help but intervene (😉 some would say "interfere"). I suppose it gives me courage to act, but I don't even think about it because I am in the moment.

I feel more courageous when I see someone vulnerable whether it's a person or an animal being treated badly. This is the time when I feel strengths in me I did not know I had.

Actually, the vulnerable person could also be myself at times. I have had to defend myself or my rights a few times and it is somewhat harder then defending others....
@Fradiga I agree that when I defend myself it looks like I am being defensive and that is more difficult for me. I almost prefer to ignore criticism that is untrue because if it is not true then it is like someone says I have tail. Why get angry about something like that that is untrue?
On the other hand if the criticism is valid, then why should I get upset about something that we all know is true. It is like someone saying I have 2 ears. Yes of course so why get upset by that?

As I said in a earlier post, I choose my battles. It really depends on the stakes. I've been assaulted a few times for one thing and it did help to be physically courageous (and fuuuuurious!) in the moment. Also deciding to honour an engagement and go entertain at some function when I had UTI with fever and almost fainted during the performance - Thank God I had a colleague with me.
There are people who do not need actual courage to do certain things. They are actually in their element when you and I would hold our breath!
@soulsings I feel more courageous when I have donned the armor of God and am praying, then come what may, I can face it and do what must be done, by the grace and power of Almighty God!

@greenPineapple1998 letting go of the past is something that really helps me. Also letting go of unrealistic expectations also.
