@amiablePeace77 What past experience helped you to make better decisions?
What I suffered through helped me gain wisdom so I did not make the same mistakes over and over again.
@soulsings hugs you tightly ❤
@Tinywhisper11 thanks for being here for me. Hugs.
@amiablePeace77 my whole past as taught me gratitude ❤ don't take anything for granted, not ever. And try not to let even a second of life slip passed unnoticed ❤

"Experience" would take an S in my case. Also.... not just mine but others' experiences are quite a lesson too and worth heeding.

What past experience helped you to make better decisions?
My past and my disabilities have forced me to learn better decisions in a way. Moving to another country was also a big way for me to get courage to make those better decisions in a lot of ways, being able to leave most of the toxic stuff behind and look at things from a different perspective.
Guess it's a bit fresh to count as a past experience, but had a stroke recently, so gonna have to start making a lot of new decision for a healthier life too. It's one of the biggest ones of my life in a lot of ways.
@OneErased good for you choosing to move away from thie things that were toxic for you.
Sorry to hear you have medical challenges, but hope you find ways to have a healthy life.

Sadly, living in this world as LGBTQ2S+, has the only decision to be careful. As someone, whom counselled 20yrs+ ago, just to have to witness/experience "backlash" now......I'm sorry my post isn't uplifting. Nor do I want uplifting replies. I would just want people to stop. And think. My post is no different from a war veteran - (global) who has had to fight for the rights for freedom. As an elder LGBTQ2S person, looking back , and looking forward - to all LGBTQ2S persons - go forward carefully,but united. "United we stand, Divided we fall"
