Im glad that i played football in school and later worked out in the gym
Realizing that even though I'm always broke, my twenties are never coming back. So I began spending more money into eating out, and having experiences. Best decision, even though I'm struggling a bit more financially, I'm not breaking the bank. Money comes and goes, and I don't want to live my twenties locked up in my house.
I'm glad I studied abroad and traveled them while I was young.
I'm glad I married my husband despise how young we were, I was 20 and he was 19. Everyone said we wouldn't last but, we just celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary.
I'm also glad I got my degree in clinical psychology. I'm disabled and can't practice anymore, but I'm very proud of myself for getting it.
@amiablePeace77 I’m grateful that despite abuse at home I graduated high school, did 2 years of college, had 2 children and was blessed in being born and raised in the best city of all NYC and got to raise my children here.

Great that you focus on all the things which are there for you and don't get lost in the abuse. It must have been very hard to grow up for you and it can easily happen that one only sees what happened and not the good things in life. I hope you get the support you need here! 💙
