@courageouspanda2006 - It’s an important lesson to learn that there are those in life it’s safest not to depend on. But on the flip side, that lesson can inspire us to love the ones who offer support when needed, just a little harder.

For me, the most important thing that I have learnt is:
Choose who you let in your wall. I have been hurt by many over the years and now I am very guarded.
@braindamag3 - I’m sorry you’ve been hurt. Only children and fools approach life with zero caution, but there can be joy found from taking some…cautious risks?

I have been cautious all my life. 60 yrs old and now have just 1 friend left at work where I've been for 25 years. Walked away from my other one 3 months ago. Tough to do but had to be done.
I've always been guarded but even more so now.
@braindamag3 - friendship losses cut deep. Been there.

Never give up, take the challenge bc no matter what happens they always improve you, never let yourself be taken advantage of, always be kind, happy, grateful, and helpful, always be patient and humble but also take any wins and give yourself credit for anything when it’s earned, always be your authentic self, never be a conformist, always give your all, only one life to live so live it the happiest way as much as you can, we all can make the world better than it is if we want to.
Those are just some of the life lessons I’ve learned.

Thank you! And exactly what’s the point of living a life of pretending and lying? Every lie brings more weight on you so each lie makes it harder with time to keep up those lies. Lying or pretending don’t make you happy either bc even if you get what you want you have to maintain your lies and pretends to keep getting whatever you wanted and you won’t like that. Despite all this said, we’re unfortunately taught or trained to lie in certain situations in this world.
