Would you trade stability for growth?

If you had a chance for a positive change but one that would mean letting go of what you have now, would you take it? And what would guide your decision?

Hoooo boy.

So around June of 2024 I was in a bad spot where I had lost work and was losing savings fast. I was spiraling and eventually I just packed up everything I had onto a flipping bicycle and started camping my way across the state. It was a wild journey but I had some online support.

I'm in a different state with a new job and an apartment now. I'm older. Only the littlest bit wiser.

I wouldn't suggest doing what I did. But change forces growth, Or you die.

@DaveMarx I'm sure your journey had its fair share of ups and downs. I'm really glad you're here and I hope you continue to achieve everything you wish for 💙

Not always - I value growth, but not at the cost of my peace. A balance of both feels right.

Are you kidding? I'm what used to be called a crazy cat lady with classic motivation. I gave up on people. Now I rely on attitude. I send off a warning and go from there. I'm not dead yet, but one day I will be.

@BlueDarkAurora

I would trade stability for growth. We all can stay stable for awhile but everything changes like the seasons. Growth helps up learn new things even painful at times. From my autistic brain with trauma, growing to learning how to forgive, not quickly, but genuinely forgive and I rather take growth rather then have stability.
