Taking things for granted!
Something I really enjoy is to watch youtube videos on my streamer. In the recent past I had some difficulties in uploading them (it's solved now). This interruption showed me how much I enjoyed watching them but also how much I took it for granted being able to switch on the device to watch.

Honestly, I think I take for granted waking up each morning. We don't realize how lucky we are to have our health and that each day is a blessing and a new opportunity to seize the day! 🌞

Hi Ami,
One thing that I realize that I take for granted is the power of our Electric. I never really give it a second thought because it is always there for the most part until we have a major power outage that may last for several days. Contemplating getting a Generator.🤔

What you said reminds me of the saying "We only miss the water when the wells are running dry"! A generator can give a lot of relief, knowing for example the freezer is still cooling!

Also French bread (cheap and delicious) since I moved back to France.

There are so many things we often do not notice, it's good to take a moment here and there and notice what we are able to hear and to eat.

The first thing that popped into my head was breathing. Breathing is kind of amazing to just sit and watch it happen. Most of the time I take it for granted.

I hear you soul. When there is something irritating in the air like pollen or so I do realize a lot how much I take normal breathing for granted.

One other thing I take for granted is the ability to use my hands. Some days they hurt and ache and I need them for everything I do. I need to be more thankful.

@WorkingitThrough2 that must be rought to have hurting hands. How do you cope with that?

I use hand braces sometimes but I have had 3 surgeries on both hands so I just keep them active or I am afraid I won't be able to use them. When all else fails I grab the Aleve😊
