The situation that disrupts my life

@wingedmichael I hear you, those can be scary unknowns. Have you considered searching for resources in the new area so some of the unknown is known?

Can you keep in touch with old friends on social media, phone and video calls?

@courtney438 sorry you are feeling lonely. I find the group support rooms are great places to socialize when real life socializing is not possible.

Life can be a real b****, huh? I’m sorry that happen to you. Some people just don’t know how to treat people and loyalty and honesty is a thing of the past it seems. Im not a verified listener but if ya want or need a ear to vent to…I’m listening 😊

@JustLondon sorry that you were so disappointed. They sound like they are relationship hopping. It must be so rough to feel that loss.

@JustLondon I am sorry your relationship fell apart in such a hurtful way. Those are never easy to deal with.

I thought of this how I might reframe the situation as I look back on some of the challenges I faced in life after the initial shock is over and I say to myself "Thank goodness I did not have a child with them or marry them. If they are that flighty and undependable then I am glad I did not get further entwined in their lives, like buying a house or signing a lease."

Life is tough when you feel you need to be the person others expect you to be instead of being yourself. Something I learned in the course of the years was, the more I became my true self without hiding it the more others seem to be accepting, some will leave though but the ones who stay can become good people to have around.

@calmSailboat3288 medical school is a big commitment. Good luck dealing with it.
