Hello lovely trauma family

Flowers, thinking of flowers, as i looked out the window at the brilliant colours of the dahlias that are in full bloom right now. And early in the morning i picked a bucketful to give away. Flowers that bring colour, flowers that brighten a room, flowers that bring a smile, flowers that warm a heart.

Flowers have been part of our history and appear in religious and spiritual writings, fairy stories and myths. Flowers that are often the herald of a new season, as is for those of you in the northern hemisphere with a glimpse of spring appearing in the snowdrops and.daffodils. For us "down under" there are the chrysanthenums about to bloom with their shades of bronze, yellow and rust, reminding us that autumn is on its way. Flowers are present in many of our rituals, like birthdays, weddings, and funerals. They often express love and deep emtions when we may not have the words. Their simple beauty speaks volumes. Maybe there's someone in your life that you'd like to give abunch of flowers to..

How is your day going? What is your favourite flower? Can you remember a time when flowers were of special significance to you? Or pop in to say hi! You're welcome here.. this is your space and a safe place. x

@rozie I really like red poppy. Around one and a half hour away from my granny's there is a field filled with red poppy. It looks so, so beautiful!

@rozie

Im not sure if I have a favorite flower but I when I was little I had a bunch of roses. I took care of them, talked to them and even read to them eventually they died but through their whole lives I loved them like I loved my pets. My day is going okay today.

How is your day going? Not so good, it's almost over now but there was a lot of drama at work and I was caught in the crossfire. the Male assistant manager also touched my arm in the least creepy way possible as a way of bodily communicating the fact that I personally did a really good job today. hard to say anything but hello flashback central.

What is your favourite flower? My favourite flower is probably the Orchid right now. I have a miniature one that I got when I was one year clean from cutting. It's blooming for the 3rd time since I've had right now and honestly, some days that's the only thing that keeps me going.

Can you remember a time when flowers were of special significance to you? See above lol.

@rozie

I'm slightly pissed off right now... I've been apart of this community for like over a year now, and never have i ever been able to join a group session for trauma. The only time Ive ever been up late enough in the middle of my night to be able to go into a group support chat, I was asked to leave because apparently an open room was actually closed?! Apparently it's reserved for an exclusive group in this community, and I'm not welcomed. When I've asked about this, I was ignored. So I'm just a little done with this place now. I'm clearly not wanted here.

Oh, I'm sorry that happened. I don't know how it must feel, but I want you here. And I'm a someone that's here, so you are wanted here! 😃 I'm being silly to make you smile. I can hear your frustration. It can be hard to try and be able to help everyone. Maybe you can try again? I hope you don't give up. A lot of people need help and it can be hard to feel like you aren't able access the help you need to. But people are here for you! here is a HUG! I hope this helps a little. ❤️

@WaterLily16

Im so sorry to hear how youve been left feeling Lily. Time zones are unfortunately the culprit, and also finding sufficient moderators to cover the sessions at other times.

However, its a fair point you raise, and I wonder if there might be an opportunity to vary the times occasionally or have the odd ad hoc session. Perhaps @Rain45 could help answer this.

Whichever way it falls, please be assured its in no way a personal reflection on you. Youre very much wanted here.
