And yea, I made the text and the highlight the same color. It doesn't have to be gray, but I felt that black was too dark and white wouldn't have let you see where to select it. Red would have looked like one of those moderators' warnings. I was thinking of using other colors but I just went for gray. I might go for dark pink or purple next time

Of course, like many things...it is the honor system:
one has to trust that others will do as we ask. Either way though...they are prob less likely to comment on it when they see that request and shading. So it still does stay much more private . 💖👍👊

@cyanPlatypus6370 Hi Platypus. I found I think a comment you left about liking doing agility training with dogs and when the dogs don't do what they're supposed to. Then followed it back to your feed. Where I found a neat cartoon of a dog comforting it's human, and then somewhere from there I saw you saying SFO. TBH I didn't KNOW what it meant.... and made the closest link.

Hi :) Well, it was very 'uh what is this?' but not annoying. No worries mate :) I'm glad you like my SFO abbreviation. and technically my boy is not a Sfo either. He is more of MFO (medium) - but for some reason that sounds a bit too "Mafia"-like to me so changed to SFO. He's waiting for me to take him outside right now actually.
Again no worries, I was more confused. (and fine guess for SFO, just not quite how I've meant it) How is your LFO? lol. Have you seen the Pet Page or Pet Corner or however it's called? It is under Hobby SubCommunity. Some lovely pictures :) Okay, good night see you later! :)

Yea, it's actually working! Maybe we should always do this.
Perhaps we could also use a colored bold title before the answer. Maybe always the same color or different colors based on the categories/topics..

We could also maybe add a "date stamp" at the bottom as to what date and time we posted it, so people could have a sense of the chronolgy of things. (Prob with a defsult to ET, U.S. as that is the time clock that 7 Cups runs off of.

I really think you've found another core piece or insight into the heart of something else:
(It's right in line with the idea of posting a trigger warning, but it hadn't occurred to me until you came up with your elegant solution)
....if one wanted to vent an emotion (in diary not forum....apparently you can be flagged or muted for that).....One could do the same thing. (I'm thinking purple or pink might be perfect for that!
....maybe not blue (Lol😄🙄), because thru might think we were swearing!😉

So. I think that the colored suvjext title as the first line (as tou first did it) really is vest. Then the person's name tag in vold as the second lone. And yes keeping the topic color consistrnt, at least for thzt particulr conversation. So whoever starts the topic picks the color anyone participating there after in that convo. uses the same color.
This is also going to really help anyone who's in a hurry and want's to only respond to a certain conversation or even only to posts by a certain contributor: they look for the color, the name and maybe the date stamp, et voila! 😀
And actually we prob wouldn't nwed the date stamp, because if thry are posting to thead instead of replying....it should be in order.
