I already hate this, but I have to do it.
I went through way too much. I didn't think I would survive it. Life is falling apart and I don't know what to do anymore. I lost everything and I can't find it in me to start all over again. I am hurting like ***. I feel very lonely. I am feeling lost and trapped. I am in a lot of pain. I financially struggle. I am about to lose my house in 3 days. I have nowhere to go. I lost my partner. I lost my hopes and dreams.
I begged 7 Cups to give me a discount so I could talk to a therapist. I don't know if it will happen or not. I am scared of finding listeners because most people don't want to even hear me out, they leave, block me without a warning, ignore me and I don't even know why... I desperately reach out to someone who is capable of caring for me, even one bit. Someone who can commit to supporting me without disappearing. I don't know if this can save me and I hated asking it, but I did it and here it is.
If anything I said isn't okay, I am not aware of it and I am sorry. If this is not the right place, I am not aware of that either. All I need is getting some help, from somewhere. If you think you are capable of it please act on it. Maybe I deserve this, maybe not. I thought of myself a kind, caring, gentle person. I heard that from a lot of people too. If it's true, maybe I don't deserve it so I am here reaching out my hand.
Hello @patientAcai8660
It sounds like you are going through a major chapter in your life and it is full of heartbreak. i stand with you and i support you in this major unsettling situation you are in.
You didn't offend me at all with this post, in fact i cherished the fact that you are strong and that you had the courage to tell your story.
i hope you find a listener who can help you... all listeners are not created equal and can make errors too.
Sending you hugs if it's ok...✨🌟💫
@patientAcai8660
I can only empathise with you, relatively new member.
If my own welcome to 7 Cups and the support I've received is anything to go by then I am convinced you will find the support you are seeking.
Tbh I'm also struggling, not financially but that hardly makes it better. Now that I'm 19 so many things that were done for me (I've been living in a foster home for a decade) are being expected for me to do, on top of leaving school feeling destroyed by loneliness.
@Tetravulren
I'm sorry to hear about your struggles and the loneliness.
Does anything help at the moment? And is there anything I can do to support you somehow?
Thanks @patientAcai8660, I'm in my room all day using sugar and video games as coping methods. I wanna get my life together but I dunno where to start.
I hope you found a listener who is engaging now or connected with someone else in this forum (looks like you got a lot of good responses) 🙌🏼.
Whatever you’ve survived and are dealing with, you can overcome it. You can find your way, you can be free, you can eventually thrive. Be kind to yourself and accept genuine kindness when given in the meantime.
And I’m hoping you can get a discount if you have not already.
@bbthx
Hi there, thank you for your kind words and support. It means a lot in the middle of the difficulties I am experiencing.
Unfortunately I haven't found the support I need yet.
But in forums I did find a kind soul who went through some of my experiences and I am feeling less rejected, more understood now. What's nice is that I found them when I reached out with the purpose of making them feel better, not myself.
For now I remain scared and afraid but if I continue to have positive experiences I might be able to get over the bad ones and start trying to reach out again.
I think that’s exactly how it works @patientAcai8660. We should get back what we put out, so it makes total sense that you found comfort while trying to help someone else.
And doing Good things and having as much positivity as you can muster definitely start that way of the bad experiences. It’s kind of like interest - you need to let it accumulate!
@patientAcai8660
That's what I have been finding too, just being open and responding to others has increased my positivity bit by bit. Hang in there, you never know there might be the light bulb moments you seem to be seeking at anytime.
