Hey hey everyone! 💛

So with this year-ending energy creeping in (slowly but surely hehe), I’ve been feeling that urge to watch something comforting… like the kind of show or movie that feels like wrapping yourself in a warm blanket with a little mug of something sweet. 😭🧣🍫✨

Sooo I wanted to make a tiny cozy corner here for all of us and ask: What do you love watching around this time of the year?

❄️ those wintery, soft-romance movies?

🎄 full-on festive chaos? The classics?

✨ magical, sparkly, whimsical stuff?

🧸 nostalgic comfort shows or movies?

🍲 or just something that gives “safe and soft and I can breathe here”?

I’m sooo curious because everyone’s idea of “holiday mood” or “cozy season vibe” is different. Like for some people it’s fairy lights and snow… and for others it’s rewatching the same comfort show for the 15th time with a blanket. 😭💛 Haha and I keep switching between all of it.

My usual go tosss are the christmassyyyy Netflix Rom-coms and Harry Potter movie marathonnnn!

How about you?

Share anything you like. Definitely looking for any and all recommendations. 🥰

Let’s make a wholesome little winter watchlist together. 🧣🌨🍿✨  And you’re always welcome to simply sit here quietly too… this space is yours, festive or not. 🫂💛

@Sunisshiningandsoareyou I have a plan to rewatch Thunderbolts*. I really love that movie, especially when Bob shows up (he's my comfort character) 😆

I also love all Harry Potter movies, it's unfortunate they discontinued Fantastic Beasts.. 😞 I'm still curious about how it will end. By the way, who's your favorite character in Harry Potter? Mine is Cedric Diggory💛

@Sunisshiningandsoareyou Czech and Slovak fairytales are a must 😊 they are so magical 😮

Our Cinderella, but in our tradition, she doesn't have a fairy godmother, instead she gets 3 hazelnuts, in which she finds 3 outfits for 3 occasions when she needs them the most 😊

There is also a fairytale about a boy who could talk to animals and got into noble drama (Sokoliar Tomáš)

The above two are my favourite, but we have a lot more favourite fairytales as a nation, like the iconic Perinbaba (she's basically a mythical lady who makes snow fall when she fluffs her feather blanket on the sky)

And the Mrázik (although that one was a soviet block one, and while the regime is in the dust where it belongs, this fairytale is an iconic part of traditional holidays), it's a comedy about the classic sweet girl and a wicked stepmom and sister (iconic nutcracker scene below, where the wicked stepsister cracks nuts using her teeth, this move got the actress the role in the movie)

These four are main ones, but there is a lot more less popular ones on the TV too, including some premiers.
