Good TV and Movie Recommendations?
What are some good Inexpensive TV and movies available for those on a budget?
Hoping for good stories with kindness, love and humour in them.
@communicativePond1728
I'm unsure about the availability, mostly available on Netflix I guess: The Good Place, Dash and Lily, Atypical. Do you enjoy anime movies? Also disney movies? They are so full of kindness and hearty emotions, I think hehe!
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
Disney movies used to be my go-to when I'm not feeling well! It's been a while since I've been able to take time off though, even if I'm not well, but maybe it time to give myself a break!!!
I don't have Netflix, but maybe YouTube has something? I hear there's something called Escontada or something I haven't seen yet, is that Disney?
And I liked Nausicaa and other movies from that creator like Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away, and even Princess Mononoke even it kinda freaks me out.
@communicativePond1728
Oh noes, I hope you can take some time off and hope you feel better.
Disney movies definitely scream *comfort* and are the best hehe!🥰
Oh yes, YouTube might have something worthwhile. I'm yet to watch Nausicaa, I'll check it out, it's a tearjerker?😮
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
Thank you very much.
Nausicaa is totally a tear-jerker.
I ended up renting it and was flat weeping multiple times...it was horrifying.
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou. I liked Dash and lily, and Atypical also 😊.
@adventurousBranch3786 Branch I often feel like we share similar taste in shows hehe, and I'm always happy to see you relate too!❤
Did you watch anything recently/ new (not new necessarily but new for you), and want to recommend lol?
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou. I liked Queen Charlotte .
TW I liked everything know but TW for character with eating disorder.
@adventurousBranch3786 Will check these out, thank you for sharing!

The Silent Sea...................... nothing beats this show😃
@Comphi
I can't afford Netflix right now. But after searching for the preview of Silent Sea on YouTube, a whole free episode of 'Blue Eye samurai' came up...have you see it? So thanks for answering; I now found something free to watch because of it!

@communicativePond1728
For free I prefer watching Mr. Bean😀
@communicativePond1728 Keys to The Heart...Extreme Job Or Check classics
Has anyone seen Wayne?
@communicativePond1728. A lot of people like Heartland. I think it’s on Utube.
@communicativePond1728 I personally watch cartoons on Disney + when I feel down since it isn't so much like real life drama which triggers me more so if youre also watching cartoons I recommend The owl house, Amphibia but if your looking for shows more realistic then look up on Netflix there are some good ones as I said I don't watch them since they trigger me more.

@Chixxa upss send it two times sorry
@Chixxa
Oh...I though I didn't respond to your message but I did!
Sometimes my messages or replies from others don't come up in notifications, but this was a different glitch it looks like!
@Chixxa
Darn; I don't have Disney+ or Netflix. :( And I'm on a very tight budget...and can be quite self destructive when too uncomfortable with being alone, which I am these days, so I will end up binge watching with streaming services like that instead of enjoying shows moderately. I am on a free YouTube Premium trial for a month...do you know of any good shows on that?
I found some free things on YouTube Premium...a season of something called 'A Discovery of Witches'...I dunno haven't heard of it. Looks like a drama about witches and vampires with a dark academia vibe.
Also there's a free episode of an animated show called 'Blue Eye Samurai', but I have no idea what it's about either, and some interesting short videos by a channel called 'vewn'.
