What is your 'comfort' movie?
A comfort movie has many different interpretations for different people.
Most commonly, Comfort movies are the ones that a person can turn to when they are having a bad day and need an escape from everything for a while. Basically, any movie that brings you comfort.
You can have many comfort movies. They also do not necessarily need to be movies, they can be TV shows as well.
What are some of your favorite comfort movies?

Grosse Pointe Blank is my standard movie for when I feel like everything sucks, but I also really like to watch Marx Brothers movies when I'm depressed too. Sometimes all I need is to laugh.

Duck soup is probably my favorite Marx brother movie.
All of them are timeless. I still quote lines I heard decades ago they're so memorably hliarious.

Willow
It's a classic Fantasy B-Movie from the late 80s that has a simple, linear plot, fun characters, witty dialogue, and a healthy dose of that 80's cheese that is so nostalgic.
It's the kind of movie that's hard not to enjoy. By the end of Willow, it's hard not to feel cheerful. You've gone through the standard catharsis of "good wins against evil."

The entire movie just brings nostalgia, the whole movie cant be explained you just have to watch it

The Devil Wears Prada is my no. 1. I also like 13 going on 30, and What a Girl Wants.

@comfortableNight4463 I have several! BluesBrothers (for good music and a laugh), Doctor Strange, GalaxyQuest, anything Star Trek, 5th Element... I love movies but especially sci fi and superheroes.
john wick is my comfort movie always. then james and giant peach. my in btwn comfort is any anime on my list to watch 🧡💫just helps calm me down and relax.
