The Gratitude Current: "Today I am grateful for..."
Fill in this sentence:
Today I am grateful for the current that carried me through...

@Heather225 I am. I really am grateful. If it wasn't for that very current that carried me through and, especially, God, I wouldn't have made it. There's no way I would have. Like many others, my waters have been all kinds of bumpy. It's been here and there. I've even fallen off my kayak a time or two (or too many to count, lol), but I've managed to get back in and the current takes me eventually where God designed it to lead me to be. I'm grateful for all of it. Truly. 🥰
@YourCaringConfidant May you’re faith continue to flourish Caring 🙏🌷❤️

I'm greatful to have navigated the current of grief, it has brought me under many many times, it's been unbearable at times, there's been times, I couldn't see a way through, but I'm still here, still healing and still moving downstream 💚🤗
@Amanda84 And I decree that you will continue to, Amanda! I'm so proud of you for keeping on braving through even when you weren't sure you could. So very sorry for the loss of your loved ones. 🤗

I,LL attempt to answer this before part 1, fitful nights sleep.
I've had my uos and downs but I am grateful for a drive or current within me that simply keeps pushing me on, empowering me to care for birth my physical and more recently mental health. The welcome and interactions I've received since joining cups is certainly strengthening the current.
Today I am grateful for the current pushing me through this difficult transitional period of my life. Shedding the responsibilities of a provider but picking up the mantle of father, caregiver, mentor and example by never giving up, maintaining my values and pressing forward with my goals.
@RickestRick86 In the difficult moments that is when resilience is tested - I’m grateful you have people around you to cheer you on. Go Rick, Go! 🤜
Bravery is a good trait and I can hear you exhibit that quality. That is the under layer of courage. Doing things even if you are scared. Good for you ☺️🙌
Today I am grateful for the current that carried me through... almost burning out. This has happened a couple of times before, yet each time I face an overwhelming responsibility and carry everything on my shoulders it gets easier to identify when to pause, rest and avoid burnt out. I got out of a mismatched job two months in. It didn't fit the job description and wasn't going to change, in which I was thrown in with no training, onboarding or tools to perform a forced and heavy end-of year project. My family and I moved to another city and depended on that remote position while our other projects take off, yet I am sure we will find other opportunities and that staying there would've been the wrong choice leading to a sure burn out.
This week I've been able to sleep soundly and recognize my body is finally getting much needed rest. It is the first time in weeks that I'm not constantly worrying. I have time to be with my family and explore other options. I want to continue being able to raise my kid, have a slow morning, have a home cooked meal for lunch, go for a walk in the afternoons. Anything that compromises this, I'm not interested in.
@Camus00 It can feel overwhelming when you are left unsupported where training is to be robust and soldified. Keep soldiering on, Camus 🌷❤️🤜
@Heather225 There was a light bulb moment for me “Ah the river whooshed- now I remember” 😅💚
