Should I just uninstall?
I have attempted to connect with multiple listeners with no success. No chatrooms show up, or a notification appears to let me know they can't chat right now. I am about to just uninstall since this malfunction with the system (or simply no one wanting to listen to me in particular?) defeats the whole point of the app.
@TorrentialGlitter Sorry you had bad experiences with listeners, I know it's very hard to find a great one!! Maybe visit the forums on the topics you are seeking support. it's often the best way to find more empathic and caring listeners even if they are currently "offline", they will reply and offer a chat for later. An other option, for one available "right now" is to go on browse listeners, make sure to check the "verified listener" box for getting a better quality. I'm not sure why you can't see the chatrooms, since you are able to post in forums, it means your email is verified right? maybe open a support ticket about it?
@TortueDesBois the problem isn't the function of the site, it's the quality of the listeners.
@giganticPup I am actually not sure if it's a glitch within the app or if it's the listeners. The listeners are all mysteriously absent or silent despite a green dot by their name. The bot offered to select a listener for me and each time it would come up with nothing. I may open a support ticket just in case but I am disenchanted by this experience so early into the use of the app. On the bright side, a few chatrooms showed up? But still nothing.
Yes, try a support ticket. As a listener, I often receive messages from people expecting to chat while I am not even online, and I have long suspected that the green dots in the app are unreliable, but I have never been able to prove it.
@TorrentialGlitter
@giganticPup Poor listeners wouldn't cause the chatrooms to not show up. A support ticket sounds like the proper step to take.
