Welcoming Team - Sample welcome message
Is there any better way of creating Sample Welcome Message than through the cooperative work of our awesome community? I really dont think so!
Feel free to post here your ideas, and the sample message which you will be using to welcome new listeners .
Remember, it would be great if it has the following elements:
-> Your Listener name (or real name) and his/her Listener Name
-> The more personal the better!
-> A little introduction on who you are and how is our community
-> Resources the Listener could need during their first days:
a) The ultimate guide to new Listeners, FAQs
b) It would be great if they find a mentor to guide them through the path theyre just getting started with, they could find one at the mentor page or just get paired with one through this form
c) What better way to get to know the community than through the Welcome Forum? Dont forget to mention them that they can introduce themselves here!
d) And of course, if they have an immediate doubt they can sure go to the Listener Support Group Chat, remember them that they can also use the Get help in listener support room located at the top right of private chats
Tip: Be as empathetic and close as you can be, we all like to feel welcomed when joining a community as big as this! Think about how would youve liked to be welcomed ;)

As you begin your active listening and acclimation to this new role, it may be beneficial to have a Listener Mentor you can reach out to on a consistent basis for ongoing support.
