Alone
I am so lonely. I look around a see really horrible people loved and cared for. Yet I am all alone. I often think if really bad people can have friends and be loved, what does that say about me? I can't even get therapists to care. I had one but he was God awful and was just going through the motions until i stopped seeing him. I signed up for treatment in 2018 but have never received any services. I don't think they liked me. Iwould love just to be able to talk to someone. Doesn't have to be anything earth shattering, just some friendly chit chat. Just some kind of connection with someone. But I am afraid my flaws run so deep it would be impossible.

@wishfulPiano5648 when you have been through as much trauma as we have we noticed everything. The way someone shows up for us when we are in a crisis and they act like it’s another day in the office. I can’t take how insensitive the whole process is. I’m done telling strangers with degrees about my life because let’s face it they really don’t care.

Hi, I kinda know how you feel; I know what it feels like to not have anyone to talk to or care about you. I still feel like that a lot but I talked to an amazing listener a few minutes ago and I don't think I'm that alone anymore. Also, learning about Jesus Christ and how He loves people like you and me made me feel loved beyond measures (Ephesians 3:18-19). (John 3:16). Also helped me by listening to Always by Forrest Frank. God promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and that helps me when I feel sooooo lonely. Talk to God. He cares about us much more than you'll ever know.

Recently I was camping, alone, in the middle of the woods in Maine for two weeks. I was completely isolated, it wasn't a campground, just a spot in the woods. I was afraid I was going to really loose it. I wound up going to the dollar tree about every other day. It was great. I got to know the cashier and several locals who were also doing the same thing I was.
I know its not "friends", but the small social interactions we have with other people really do matter. It might be just a band aid for now, but maybe you have a dollar tree near you.
