Drowning

Tbh I can’t remember the last time I got out of my room. Or got something to eat. Or chat with my friends and family. Or just randomly go out for some sunlight and air.

I’m exhausted, drained and I’m at edge. My mental health is terrible and all I can think about is how to make it all stop hurting.

Life is the worst!

I've been feeling this way for a while now. So I can understand a little of how you feel. I do feel occasionally though. I have a wonderful family, so I got to put on an act and be happy in front of them. But deep down I'm a mental wreck. Talking about it to people who share the same helps a little.

I will not give up though, I believe the storm will clear someday. All I need to do is to KEEP PUNCHING!!

I think I understand how you feel. We need our place, where no one can reach us but at the same time we need someone to talk. That's me. It's sad that people around don't mind or just they have their own life. But we should not depend on them, on what we receive from people. I think that if we can find our place a quiet place for us we can reach our self peace. Just at the first time it's hard because that's why I'm here, trying to feel I'm not the only one

Hi @ilovequiet01,

It’s a tough time that you’re going through. I have spent close to 5 years like this. Trust me I can feel what you’re going through and the courage it took to even write about it here is a great thing.

Now one thing I would tell you is this - Your mind is not your friend now. The thoughts it comes up with. The things it makes you do, the constant inner voices it bothers you with. You need to separate yourself from this imposter who has hijacked your mind.

Challenge every thought, challenge what you think about who you are now. Compare it with the last time you felt normal and see if this is really you.

Once you do this, you will start getting some clarity on all the lies and deceits your thoughts are pulling you through! So make a conscious effort to challenge your thoughts and take actions accordingly.

It is easier said than done, so I don’t expect this to happen immediately and you to get fine soon. This will take time and you need to commit to the process. But once you learn the knack of it, nothing can ever hijack your mind again.

Hit me up 1:1 if you Want to talk more about this.

@ilovequiet01 i know how your feeling.Probably alone.

You came hear to find something that'll add a little more meaning to life and most people will keep telling you the same *** you've tried doing but isn't working,others will just try to understand and sympathize and say things you don't want to hear.You don't want this to be your only option but sometimes it feels like the caption.I could tell you how I overcame this?(although I don't think mine was ever as severe as yours).All I can say is you probably haven't found the beautiful side of life yet🥺🥰

@ilovequiet01

hey — thank you for sharing this here. i can feel how heavy and raw everything is for you right now, and i’m so sorry you’re carrying all of that alone. that exhaustion, the staying in your room, the not-eating, the tiny pleasures that feel out of reach — it all makes sense when your mind and body are worn down. you’re not weak for feeling this; you’re human, and you’re allowed to be hurting. 💙

if you’re up for one tiny thing right now: try to open your door or a window for a minute. just a breath of fresh air and a little light can sometimes take the edge off, even if only a little. if eating feels impossible, a sip of water or one small snack can remind your body you’re still here and still fighting.
if you don’t feel like talking here, you can PM me — i’m happy to listen privately and sit with you.

you don’t have to face this alone. 🌷

you matter. your feelings matter. thank you for trusting us enough to post — we’re here with you. ✨
