Hello everyone, I’m going through a lot right now, broken relationships with my kids, after finally decided to separate from a mentally and emotionally abusing husband. Hope to find someone with whom I can share my story. By the way I’m a very good listener too.

sorry you are having relationship issues with your kids....
depending on their age it may be awhile to understand why you ended it. It is a delicate balance to have kids understand their parents are people too and deserve to be happy and not live out a life like a prison sentence.

I don't have kids but can relate the spousal issues. I'm impressed you have been able to leave. I feel "stuck" with my husband. Feel free to chat any time.
@gem84 thank you. If you are facing the same challenges that I have I absolutely understand that it’s not easy to just leave.
So proud of you for deciding and having the guts to leave the bad relationship no matter the circumstances. I hope your kids come around to realizing sometimes you’ve gotta do what’s best for yourself and when they realize that themselves they’ll be proud of you too! Hang in there❤️@Didibibi2025

@Didibibi2025 I'm currently experiencing some problems with my mother myself, I'm a freshman in college. It's difficult for parents and their children to understand each other as people- I think. I hope you're able to amend things with your kids. I hope one day my mother will be able to do the same with me. Anyways, good luck.

I am so sorry that you are going through this rocky situation with your children. I can relate to this and I can tell you that don’t give up! If you’re a person who prays, don’t forget to pray about it every single day. The bright side of this: you are no longer with an abusing man! It is baby steps to where you are destined to be.. one step at a time! You WILL get there!! I promise!
