Looking for consistency
Hello everyone!
I just joined 7Cups and I'm planning to make it my home for a while in hopes of it helping me to finally stick to my goals, amidst depression and (social) anxiety.
I'm currently looking for listeners with whom I can build a long-lasting, consistent support relationship. Do you think I'm aiming for too much?

You're not asking for too much at all! That's is the point of 7 Cups - for you to form bonds with someone you can learn to trust and lean on for support.
I'd be happy to support you long term if you would like. If not, please tell the listeners you are talking to the type of support you would like.

I don’t think you’re aiming for too much at all. In fact, wanting consistent and long-lasting support shows your strength and commitment to healing. Finding listeners who truly understand and are there for you can make a huge difference, especially when dealing with depression and social anxiety.

@asjafocus Yes of course!! If you’re on phone, at the top of this post (top left) you should see Forum / Newbie Hub. Click on Forum. At the top of that page, scroll to Peer Groups, then scroll down and you’ll find Pen Pals. I can make a forum post later today where we can chat!
If you’re on computer, click on the Community tab. Click on Peer Groups (on the left, under Explore communities) and click on Pen Pals. Let me know if you’re having trouble navigating and I can try to help more!!

And youre not aiming high at all by seeking long term listeners, its even encouraged here at 7 cup if a member would feel more comfotable to have a co sitant support and you welcomed to ask listeners on the first chat if they do such type of listening .
