The villain with no recollection
My bf goes through my phone constantly and I know I don’t get on certain apps on my phone. Yet it’s always something that I’m hiding and deleting. So today “the data” from said app is downloaded. I haven’t seen the files. Only him. And from there I’m the villain

if data was downloaded and only he has seen it then perhaps he did it. Sounds like gas-lighting to me. Not using an app what is there to hide or delete? Have him show you any data downloaded then talk about what is there.
I simply do not believe we cannot remember using or not using some app. If this is something you do not need why not delete app from phone.
This is abusive behavior. It’s not ok.
I know this is not going to help much, but something I learned a long time ago (I’m 50 with 3 ex husbands) usually the accusation is coming from a place of guilt… meaning, if he is constantly accusing you of cheating then he is probably the one cheating. And if he knows about all these apps and data downloads and whatever it is he’s accusing you of to “hide things from him” that means he is sneaky and knows how to do it all himself.
Are you safe otherwise? Because what he is doing is emotional abuse and usually, but not always, emotional abuse can lead to physical abuse. But either way it is toxic and changing the chemistry in your brain and you should try to get away if you can.
@Unamaze2amaze trust me, he would not be my boyfriend 💜
Gaslighting, controlling, and possibly covering up his own cheating. Dump him like a hot potato!

Sorry to hear that you are going through something like this. If you really like him, you should have an open and honest conversation with him and ask him to stop doing this pathetic routine act. You are first an individual who has the right to be yourself and be in a safe place. It doesnt sound like he is a very mature and safe person, sorry to say this!
