"To heal is to touch with love that which we previously touched with fear ".
@Amanda84 very true..... but the struggle is figuring out what is love or being able to connect with that idea/ frame of mind?
@Amanda84 great quote 💖 I had to read it about 10 times, but I think it means I'm doing a pretty good job at healing💖😁💖
@Tinywhisper11 your resilience, your strength, your heart, your character is breathtaking, I am genuinely in awe and so glad to be able to call you a friend. And it helps that you threaten to beat me up on the daily 🤣💜
@Amanda84 😂😂😂😂😂😂 not threaten exactly, you openly walk into my devilish plans😂😂😂😂😂 I love you too 💗
@Tinywhisper11 I openly walk into your devilish plans, you'd make a great defence lawyer 😁
I agree 100% but I am just learning all of this and I am new to this never been on online chat before been looking for hours to talk to someone about spiritual awakening. It just is happening but I’m stuck in this phase of isolation connection and just so many things on my mind, I would love to chat with somebody one on one that knows where I’m coming from and maybe you can help me. I’m really having a hard time.
@CTalia im so sorry that you are struggling and having a hard time. Spiritual awakenings can be wonderful but also difficult at the same time, because they can require change and decisions that we might not yet be ready to make. Trust your instincts, don't be too hard on yourself and let yourself heal. Welcome, nice to meet you and I genuinely hope that you can navigate through everything that is causing you stress 💜🥰
Thank you so much I appreciate it. I just have to get rid of the negative patterns and be more aware. I’m just starting so it’s very difficult and I worked on the weekend at my job work. It’s very stressful, dysfunctional and toxic and it’s starting to take a toll on me. I’m already trying to find something different. I am definitely an intuitive empath and as soon as I walk in a room, I feel the energy and for some reason I’ve been able to control things for a long time, but it’s starting to wear on me and it drains the life out of me, I don’t know how to handle it
@CTalia it's good you are looking for a new job. Until then, it's helpful to work on identifying stressors and triggers so that you can meet them head on and learn coping strategies that you can put in okay to make your daily day, less stressful and less toxic. No work is worth that 💜
Well, I am trying to do that. I just don’t really know where to start like I know my triggers and stressors and my thing is is when people disrespect me. I like have to let them know that I’m not the person to do that with and I act all like a *** and then afterwards I feel bad it’s not who I am at all, but I just feel like, people are always just trying to upset me or get under my skin and because I have so much trauma from my past and I’ve been through so much my mom. She loved me to death, but and she was suffering her whole life herself after her death, I vow to not let anyone ever disrespect me again, so I just don’t put up with anybody’s crap, but it gets to the point where sometimes I feel anger and rage and it upsets me that I even go to that place and then I shut down and feel isolated and guilty about how I acted because that’s not who I am like the most loving person but I’m around so many people that aren’t that I have to put up this mask
@CTalia you don't have to feel bad for not taking any crap, or for being angry, or not allowing yourself to be disrespected, if you don't stand up for you, who will? But it's about doing it in a way that your voice is heard and not just your anger, direct it properly and it will be freeing. Don't hold onto it. Always ask yourself was it an appropriate response, or was it over the top, don't be reactive unless you are not being heard 💜🥰
Yes, you’re right. Miss Amanda exactly that’s why I have to be more aware before I react and that’s the problem but yes, I agree completely this weekend will definitely be the test. Haven’t gotten the new second job yet but as soon as I do, I’m quitting this other one and then my other job I work from home so it’s very peaceful, I think I’m so defensive because I’m insecure and in my past like 20 years ago, maybe 15 was a real bad addict and did stupid *** and I still feel guilt about me and my mom relationship was a hate because she always say things to devastate me which hurt me to my core and then five minutes later. Ask if I want to go get ice cream so it was like very confusing and frustrating. Eventually. My mom passed away. She had an accidental drowning. I haven’t been the same since I hold so much guilt like a lot of it was my fault and just I don’t know. It’s a whole big rabbit hole.
@CTalia thank you for sharing your vulnerabilities with me. I understand addiction is hard but I'm glad you are healing and I can only imagine the minefield of insecurities attached. But you are strong and you are fighting. I'm sorry to hear that your mother passed and you should not feel guilty, you are not responsible for your mother's words, you were affected by them, she could be a beautiful person but also hurt you, we all have good and bad qualities. Your mother sounds like she was wrestling with some of her own insecurities. You could sit down and write an open and honest letter to your mum, tell her how she made you feel, how you didn't like her words, but also how you loved her and how you miss her, and then burn the letter, allowing your feelings to be validated and processed. And here's hoping you get the new job soon 🥰💜
@Amanda84
If you are afraid of the dark, it can be hard to sleep. But when you realise the moon lives in darkness, it brings comfort. Without light, one can rest deeply.
I used to fear love itself. To be close to someone is scary, for the other can see flaws that you never did. But love is warm, and sharing life makes it all the richer. One is better loving and being loved. It strengthens, it shapes. I'm just sad it can be so elusive...
@cyanessence beautifully said 🥰 Yes, love can be elusive but also freeing but the most important love is the love we have for our ourselves and not sabotaging our own self worth 💜🥰
@Amanda84
Self-love, self-worth. These seem to be daily lessons for me. I guess I am still healing. I'm not sure I'll ever stop. Without self-love and self-worth, I cannot truly be there for someone else, and these days that's all I really want. I don't want anything in return; I just want to be a nice person.
@cyanessence I can attest to you being a nice person 😊 and healing is a continuum as we are forever learning and growing 🥰
@Amanda84
That means a lot! Thanks for the confidence boost. You are nice too!
I agree, we are always learning and growing. I learn and grow from every interaction I have with you. I don't think you realise the depth of your wisdom. You are always steps ahead of me!
