Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
I'm more worried about doing things right, and it often prevents me from even starting.
@KawaiiShepherd
I can relate to that! Do you have anything that helps you get started?
@kindDog6542 Going to the library, or a cafe, usually helps. I dislike some noise when I'm trying to focus, but the sound of rain or the low hum of household appliances is actually kind of soothing.
@KawaiiShepherd
Those are great ideas! I'm glad that you have found some successful ways to focus and power through the worries!
I like to do things correctly but I also want to do the right thing. I dont want to do something because it's just the way to do it. I want to be good with my morals.
Both, I'm worried about doiung the right thing right
I think about doing things right...which makes me abit of a perfectionist, and slows me down.
Doing things right, it even scares me if i do the wrong thing...
I already do the right thing, so I worry about doing things right. I'm honest, trustworthy and humble. Sadly my self-esteem isn't great so I always doubt myself, even if I'm doing something that I have years of experience in.
Both! With doing things right, I have to take my time and do a task to make sure it's right; with doing the right things, I know between right and wrong, but there's always gray, especially with things you can't afford to do, and things that are out of your control.
@Laura
Interesting question! I am mostly worried about doing the right things. For example, if I am involved in a relationship I want to be sure my happiness won't break someone elses peace and happiness. I cannot live with making someone else suffer. However, I can also be super worried about doing things right but this is especially in my career. I am still pretty insecure in my abilities due to seeing other people of my age doing so well and I am still on such a inferior level. At least in my head. This makes me worry all the times if i'm doing things right or not and obivously that makes me focus on what is wrong and then I am not appreciating my own efforts enough. We are all our own enemies many times in life and we could try to reset the system from time to time -- to enjoy our own company more, to stop worring, to let ourselves experience anything that comes without judging ourselves at each step we take or not take.
Doing the right things! ...or both. I am currently self-learning art by myself, and it's quite hard for me because I should do this without a professional teacher, just with the help of books and tutorials from the internet. so I often feel lost and dunno what I do is efficient or not, but yeah. I'll figure this.
I'm worried about them both equally, and that really brings me down, but I do find myself trying to do the right thing a lot
