How I deal with failure isn't very well. I don't accept the fact that I fail. Failing is one of my greatest fears, honestly. But in the positive note, I keep trying until I no longer fail.
I deal with failure by talking to my friend. After talking and rethinking what happened sometimes I realize it was not a failure after all. This is something I can learn from and grow. I do not have to perform or prove anything. I am who I am, and it is ok to fail sometimes. That kind of thinking makes my life easier.
Hmm. Failure is a difficult topic for me. I seem to set unrealistic expectations for myself, including expecting myself to be perfect even though I don't expect anyone else to be. When I fail at that, I have a difficult time accepting it and moving on.
Life is interesting your lows make your highs higher and your highs make your lows lower. Failure is an oppertunity to learn. The only true fsilure is the failure to learn when presented with the oppurtunitty.
Failure is my biggest downfall . I know I set myself up for failure but I still do it anyway, very frustrating cycle. Perhaps I feel that's all I deserve ultimately. I don't know.
U already know how to deal with failure, u just dont remember it, just ask your mama how many times u fell and tried before u successfully walked ,you will get the answer, this is the core principle of success, you fail and u keep trying it in many ways until u succeed. learning to walk is the only way of life so we try until we succeed, but in other things we have priorities, the higher the priority the more likely u r going to keep trying, learning to succeed. so decide what it is u want in your life and achieve it.
Its alright if you fail a couple of times and then achieve your target. But it's difficult to keep pushing yourself when you have failed multiple times. There comes a point of self loathing and that's hard to overcome.
I try again! Failure is one step closer to success! I try to avoid thinking about the failure since it couldn't help me move on. I only try to learn from it and set another goal to focus on and try even more!
Short Story time:
Thomas Edison was thought to be a failed man. He was trying to make a lamp work while nobody believed in him. People thought he was stupid! He created over one thousand models of lamps that didn't work. When someone asked him if he felt disappointed he said:
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work". He tried again and again and he finally made it! Today people remember his name, while nobody remembers the names of the people who said he was failed and stupid!
... because success is when you move on from every failure without losing hope!
Every lamp can work if you try many times!
@IreKat Wowwww loved your post , so often have I read Edison's story but u have brilliantly cited it here in the context of failure......

I try to be kind to myself, realize it's just one of those "1000 ways not to do something", sing "That's life" and remember to "pick myself up and get back in the race."
Emphasis on try.
I think we're all afraid of failing at some point in our lives. But dealing with it will help you learn something. Acknowledge your mistakes and maybe try again.
