I deal with failure, with the acknowledgement that failure is a normal part of life, and essential for personal development. There will be times when I will succeed, and times when I will not; yet, knowing that I'm working towards my goals and objectives to the best of my ability, and taking pride in the times when I am successful, helps me to move forward. Also, times of failure lead one to gain strength, I feel.
I personaly take a step back and think about what happend, think about what could of happend if i did something differently and try to find a way that i would avoid same type of failture in the future.
and then i just remember the quote ''i failed my way to succees'' and feel 10 times better about it all.
I usually cry at first, lol cry a lot😅.. Then eventually with time it fades away and I focus more on what's ahead..
@Laura Well, the way I think of it is that we are never really failing, just learning from our mistakes. It might sound cheesy but it's true and I have a story to go along with it. On my first day of high school I was extremely nervous. I knew maybe four people going in and I was just terrified. I also had very low self-confidence. Well, part of our summer science homework was to build a heat sheild that would contain an ice cube and protect it from boiling water. When I went to go test mine, it completely fell apart in the water. I was pretty distrought over this. My teacher came up and asked me how my expirament went and I told him it was a complete failure. He looked at me plainly and asked "did you learn from your mistake?" and I said yes. Then he said "Then it wasn't a complete failure now, was it?" And he was right. Later in that unit, I made one of the best heat sheilds in the class. So, the way I deal with failure is that I don't think it is something we should HAVE to deal with. I think of it as a positive thing because without failure we wouldn't progress individually or as a species.
Accept, Acknowledge, Analyse and work towards success
@SmileDandilion I would add another A to the 3 u hv listed = Achieve!!!
@RideaRainbow that's amazing :D 4A's of success..!!
Depending on how big of a failure it was I'll feel miserable, thinking about how much of a failure I am. If it's that bad I'll probably go to bed that night not being able to stop myself from crying.
Honestly.... I let myself be sad and cry if I want to for a day or two and then I remember that my failure doesn't define me.
how I deal with failure is just not think about me not being worthless test don't say anything good about you people can only say what's good character about you and just keep your head up and move on.😊
When it comes to failure, I usually remind myself that I tried my best. I give myself a couple moments to be upset, but then I try to focus on the next goal
Failure is something that I've always struggled to come to terms with. I let it hold me back so much, unintetionally and now I am working on undoing all the damange. Failure is just something that happens to put things into perspective. I want to change my point of view and use it to push me to want to get better at whatever I am failing at.
@doeji Failure is not really something to feel bad about. It is through failure that we learn what works and what doesn't. If we succeeded all the time, would we really learn as much as we do when we fail at something? Oftentimes, failure is a better teacher than success.
@SecretSage98 that's so true...ahhh I just feel like often times people are either forced by their family, surrounding peers and even society to Be Successful. I'm coming to terms with that still. You are so right though...there are a lot of things in life that I have learned best through failing first. Failing isn't so bad after all!
@doeji It's good to see you've learned from what I said. And don't stress about being successful. So long as you do what you love, and love what you do, that in itself is a success that many never achieve. Remember that.
