@Laura Where comes this idea that listeners have right to "confidentiality" from; especially if they miss behave?!
Why not just remove the concept of members all thogheter and have the anonymous listeners listening to anonymous listeners (and a guest system).

Because listeners are trained and members are not trained. Why should everyone be listeners? I don't come here to listen I come here for someone to listen to me.
7 cups is basically anonymous anyway, no one uses their real names here, confidentiality is important, would you like people to know and harass you in real life?

Honestly I feel like it should be up to the person facing the report. Some people might want people to know others just want to do the time quietly. Personally when I was faced with my own reports it helped to deal with it on my own rather than get others involved. But I can understand how knowing why someone is gone can help with transparency but it is also none of our business. It's a double edge sword, Laura. You're getting hurt no matter what you decide to do :\ @Laura
