@Jenjen17 you're not ugly so long as you're even just trying to be a kind person, and I believe you are, okay? And whether or not you are actually fat, what does that matter? There are so many other important things about you and what you look like doesn't define you. Whatever you're struggling with, I swear you'll get past it, you don't deserve to have to deal with those horrible thoughts about yourself ❣️

@Jenjen17 don't think that about yourself everyone has their own beauty. And you're beautiful in your own way

@Jenjen17

People often say "everyone is beautiful in their own way" or "your fat is beautiful! your stretch marks are tiger stripes!" but here's a different take:

Consider: You don't need to have conventional beauty to have worth. Your body can just be your body. You don't have to worship or admire it, you just have to nourish it. Like a car. You don't have to have an expensive Mustang that you polish or gaze at or speed around in. Is it gorgeous and expensive? Fast? No, but it gets you from A to B and helps you be productive, see your friends, or do things you like. Your body is a vessel; I hope you can love it unconditionally.

P.S.: My older sister has always been gorgeous -- but she never seems to see it, which dumbfounds me. As cliche as it sounds, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I guess you're just not your type.

@AbigailMaddie18 Hey, your brain's living in that body for free! Sounds like it's being a critical roommate who points out messes but doesn't do anything about them. In fact, it's making things even more messy and difficult with those cortisol dumps. You deserve a better mental roommate than that. I hope that in time you may come to know this. (Challenge: You could start with one positive word for every negative one you posted?)

@melsue84 I once read a post where someone was describing herself to a therapist with traits that might make her an ideal romantic partner. She listed stuff like "generous, compassionate, patient" and the therapist noted that these were all serving traits.

What word would you use to describe yourself as an individual? Funny, playful, brave?
