Question: Would you post in the forum more if you could edit your own posts?

I'm curious to know how much this impacts your engagement.

Absolutely! And I agree with making the posting box larger so that we can make the post look better and have a better visual of it before we post it. I would most definitely want to be able to go back and edit it.

It would be amazing to be able to edit posts. Its the main reason I have not posted as much as I would have liked.

I already enjoy the forum but that post would be so convenient.

A while back I replied to something thinking it was one thread but it was actually a completely different thread and it made no sense! It would have been helpful to be able to edit or delete it.

@Peachsicle ** that feature. IDK why I said post. See, this sort of thing could just be edited haha.

Yes, I would feel less anxious about writing in here if I could edit my own posts. I really hope that is something that is possible, and could happen soon.

I think this would be great! Every time I say something here, I keep wondering if it would be taken the wrong way or if I'm somehow overstating things.

Also, it would be nice if maybe we could see our posts first when we post to a thread. I keep going to threads, reading a bunch of posts, thinking about my potential response, and then I come back and wonder if I've posted to it or not.

Absolutely, I would! I'd love to have an edit button. Keep a clickable log of the edits made to edited posts, so others can see. We don't want anyone intentionally misleading others by saying one thing and editing it out later. But it is frustrating to go back and realize you made a spelling error or left something out or mistyped a word so that it changes the meaning of a sentence and ends up muddying up what you were trying to convey. This especially feel bad when it's supposed to be a comforting message to another member.

I'm all for the edit button!

Another thing that would be great is if, after you make a post and it says it's sent, the thread page redirects so it brings you straight to the post you've made so you can see it, instead of having to scroll down the page to the bottom manually, in order to ensure it posted correctly. I would really appreciate this change. :)
