Something 2016 taught me is.........
The only thing I'm responsible for is my reactions
When you feel chained to darkness, it's your responsibility to find a way to unfetter yourself.
When you're sinking in the depths of your mind, I promise there's some wood and rope nearby that you can find to build yourself a raft.
In short, your own courage must be prevail. You must be honest with yourself concerning your needs and wants and motives and objectives. Don't be afraid to cut the crap and be a little hard on yourself sometimes, because that's how we grow.
But more importantly, don't forget to take care of yourself. Treat yourself like you would treat a best friend.
Don't pretend that you know what the future holds, because you don't. And most importantly, this world is far from black and white. It would do good to try and remember that even when it's hardest to and all your instincts scream otherwise.
"Just when you think it can't get any worse, it can. And just when you think it can't get any better, it can."
*must prevail ugh sorry grammar D:
@canadagranger6 *clapping* 👏👏👏👏👏 Woo-hooo!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊
2016 taught me that I should focus on the friends that actually want to be my friends. Let the people go that don't want to spend time with you any longer.
2016 taught me is to Be strong and dont expect from anyone and to not to trust everyone unnecessarily :)
2016 taught me to be kind to myself.to show myself compassion like I do to others and that its ok to make mistakes just get back up and learn from them so you won't do it again.
No one is trustworthy. NO ONE. Never trust anyone. Not even the ones closest to you. And grab all the opportunities you get.
That i can put up with a lot of shizz.
The only one I can ever truly trust is myself AND NO ONE ELSE. And that the care and affection I waste on worthless friends" is better spent on me and those that love me inspite of my blemishes and faults.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
@Oxatnik Nice!!!!
Something 2016 taught me is that the most important thing in the world is to accept yourself. It was a lot ups and downs this year, a lot tough and good experience but I will always remember 2016 as the years I finally found and accepted myself and who I am.
To believe in myself!
