The best gift I have ever been given is......

So, it's y'know, really kind of dumb, but I had a friend at Uni who drew me a picture of a cat. I was having a very tough time with my depression, and she slipped the picture under my dorm-room door and I found it in the morning. It was a very sweet gesture, and I really appreciated it.

Friends, not that I have many (don't really care about qantity) but the ones I have, have without them knowing most of the time saved me many times from mental breakdown and helped get me through panic attacks

The frst thing that comes to my mind is a guitar that I got from my father when I was a teenager. I've been interested in music and he thought that it would be great if I could play it myself. Well, he was right, the guitar is still with me. But you know, I must say that mostly not the gift itself but the attention matters. Sometimes it's nice to get a mug from your boss. Everyone at the office get the same gift but still, it's satisfying because you understand that your boss cares.

In a materialistic way I'd say a heart pillow from my brother that says "best sister in the world" in a non materialistic probably my family ,specially him and my cat that came to us to find shelter and gave us the honor to adopt him .
