We Miss the Feed!!!! (Attention please 😀)
So it has officially been 8 months since the feed retired, there has been a lot of people who miss the feed . Both the teen side and adult side miss the feed.
I used to be a lot active on 7 cups , writing my thoughts and ideas on my feed . I used to wake up early and read other people's feed . That used to favorite corner on this site.
There are a lot of people who miss those days on 7 cups .
We have a request! Please bring that feed back on 7 Cups or atleast an alternative of the feed it's a request on behalf on everyone who wants it back too.

I agree! The feed was a really cool way to connect with other members and listeners, and I think that bringing the feed back or an alternative to it would be a really cool way to connect with more people!

I barely use this site now since the feed went. I lost contact with all my friends here (who I connected with through the Feed) and since the Growth Path has nothing new I just don't get any benefit from 7Cups anymore.

Hi Lotte, I've missed you too. and I miss my own personal feed cuz sometimes others - like you:) - would send me encouraging notes or little gifs or just "oh Platy you've got to see this picture (enter picture of adorable baby platypus)." and I would respond with something ... "Awwwh" etc. I miss the feed because we got to know one another members or listeners alike - preferences or just stuff. And as someone said above, when you get to know the other someone you know better when to say, "Hey friend, you doing okay?" or (enter total wacky silly comment). Sometimes it is good to be serious and make sure friends are really doing alright; other times it can be fun to 'just have fun!'
At times, the Feed was that for me. Especially if I was feeling low I could go to the general feed and find some wow pictures, or a quote that really did help me that day.
And I agree too, Lotte, about the Growth Path?! There have not been added or changed any of the steps/activities for a LONG time now. I do not think that was promised to us, but it does get boring doing the same ones (in the same order) over and over and over....... I think I am on my third go-round for the "Watch a Video" step. Those videos ARE good. But, could we have someone - directed listener team maybe - to search out and find some MORE (also read different!) good ones?

@LittleLotte? EXACTLY! I still have not found out that answer :( and I have been asking!
I've taken to copying my answers before "Enter" (and collecting them somewhere) because it otherwise it feels like, Gee what did I do that for? Or, @GlenM, @heather225, (@whoever is in charge of the growth path and feed - who is that?) why did I do this? This feels like a waste of time!!!
I would tag all of the admin but I cannot ever remember more than 2 or 3. Even from 7cups' birthday - the names and people that ARE admin are most "all" new to me. They don't ever write back anyway, so ???? I agree with you very much in this point, Lotte.

I submitted an error report about the Growth Path (problem with the Mindfulness part) and included all the information needed, but they responded asking all the questions that I'd already answered. I don't feel anyone listens to us older members anymore.
@CallMeNaman2002 You are right. We all miss the feed. This is the reason why people now don't use 7 cups that much 😕

@CallMeNaman2002 I missed the feed for a while, but now I have a personal diary, Charlie's notebook, and now I use it more than I ever used the feed.
Some features of the feed are missing, like the ability to repost, and of course this is a disadvantage.

It's kind of amazing to see this because if I remember correctly, when they said they were going to remove it one of the claims was that no one used it. I thought there was talk about a substitute for it when they first took it down but I could be mistaken about that too.
@mytwistedsoul Yes, I remember talk of a substitute. 7 Cups was running out of money at the time, and let a lot of staff go. The feed was said to be too expensive to maintain, and we were told not many people used it.
Technically, it would be possible to use the forum in a feed-like way by adding reposts and other feedy features, but I get the impression 7 Cups still doesn't have the money to do that kind of thing, and maybe never will have.
