What question are you most scared of asking, and why?
Let's talk about fear!
Question:What question are you most scared of asking, and why?
@Laura Am I a good person?
@what do you think you need to be a good person? I am a drug dealer and I feel like I am a good person anyway. Because I have love to give and people love me back.
It'd be asking a man out and he refuses. Must be something wrong with me!
"Will you be my friend forever?"
I'm scared of asking this because I'm afraid of hearing a NO.
I am actually scared of asking a Listener if they know anything about more sensitive topics I may need help with, since 7Cups doesn't necessarily have support chats or communities for them.
Dying - even though I have a strong faith, I do not have a written guarantee where I will end up
Waterbugs - too fast, they fly, way way too big, unwelcome but come in the house anyway, too bold
will you stay? because I am scared of the answer and being alone
Afraid to ask: "Can we talk?"
Why: It comes to a matter of vulnerability. If they say no, then the trust I had for them is on the line. This has never really happened. However, when they say yes they are expecting/preparing for the worst. You become obligated to share your most personal self. And the listener, normally keeps pushing even when you say that's all.
To be asked: "How are you?"
Why: once again, vulnerability. You either lie and they know you are or tell the truth and have to explain the reason why.
Hmm this a tough one. For me it's more of being asked a ?. Being if like her. I keep quiet I don't ask things I just assume things. Which isn't right.
for me it would be asking an acquaintance to be my sponsor. Asking her what her story is and why she became addicted. We attend celebrate recovery in different states I would prefer that because I have narcissistic mother and subjected to covert abuse
How old are you?
I
@saraxmclaughlin feel the same
@Kirstielynn
I am never scared to ask for help to whatever how much I will need to ask. Sometimes it takes too long but I get it If you don't ask for none you can't really expect to get anything.
