When I was a little, I believed fairy godmother exists and someday she will help me to get my homework done.
When I was little, I believed that lions were only boys and tigers were only girls. It was with other animals as well just, started with these two big cats.

i still metaphorically feel alien much of the time.
As for realizing i was human at around age 4... i remember feeling devastated. i thought being an alien was the reason i didn't fit in... that i was human, and still didn't fit in or feel ok... then i had no excuse. That meant that there was something terribly wrong with ME...
Hmmmm... strange revisiting that feeling decades later...

When I was little, I believed that everything would be alright if I just prayed and asked for forgiveness. Forgiveness for what? I was a young child.
@lightOak71 Exactly, I had a hard time grasping this idea of praying for forgiveness everyday when as a child all I did was eat, school, play, and sleep. I took it to mean that everything I did was inherently bad and therefore I was bad.
