@Ercove Meditation, mindfulness, breathing exercises, therapy, exercise, DBT, and radical acceptance all have helped me. Also finding the root cause of my anger, and doing work on that part of my mind. Learning how to process my emotions in healthy ways, instead of being a hammer and seeing every problem as a nail. Accepting that I cannot control others or their journey. It takes hard work, practice, dedication and time. Just remember that you can get through this!

@Ercove what I was taught when I was in my day program as I too once got angry very easily and due to it caused me to hurt my son. In program the leader in my anger management group told us to get to know our body. Listen to see where and when the anger starts when do ya feel it. For some they may clench their jaw or their hands or another part of their body. For me I feel it in my stomach and I think its due to this dat I have some of the stomach issues I have. She said when angry or if the person starts up wit ya either remove yourself by going into another room or go out for a walk to calm yourslf down. Now my partner of whom he passed in 2020. I was having issues wit his sister and her partner-what he suggested was when things start up imagine youre watching a program and set the ending in yer mind of how its to end or if its happened befoah recall dat memory  silently and again just look at it as being one big comedy and aim to do yer best to remove yourself from the situation. It can help. I flipped out over a year ago on his sisters partner and despite it being cold and being in shorts I left the home. She ended up calling police on me but they didnt do anything to me. They just wanted to know dat I was ok and drove off. I had no choice but return to the house but the issue dat caused it was now down and she didnt start up wit me after dat. Yet in time I still left as today I am not the person I once was accepting abuseby others. Today I refuse for anyone to abuse me. I do all I can to leave. The other thing dat the therapist suggested if ya are arguing wit someone tell person ya need leave but let them know how long ya plan to be gone and dat when ya return maybe ya and the person can sit down together to try to get the situation resolved. Many times when anger enters inside of us its either a person or a situation dat took place to cause it. Therefore if its a situation I do my best to push it out my mind get myself calm then when I am calm I do my best to work on it. Sometimes its at a slow pace dat I am comfortable wit. Other times I can do it within a reasonable amount of time. Hope this helps..Good luck. It is so possible to get anger under control but it takes work and of cause we have to Wanna have it for it to work.

@Ercove  Don't necessarily assume or accept that there are things you cannot control.

You don't have to get angry, but you can usually get even.
