Hi, New-ish here
I've been here before briefly, but it's been so long my life is completely different now. So hi again!
I'm honestly just looking for more connection in my life. Just a place to talk sometimes where others are actually listening and may even respond. I am married and have a wonderful person, but one person (and 2 very young children) can't be your entire social world, and I haven't had much luck building friendships.
I still suffer from some issues, and it would be nice to have space to talk about those issues when things crop up. Or even just sharing positive things. Just some human interaction honestly...

Good luck with your social life, yes we all deserve to have those friendly bonds that make us whole. People come here regularly to make connections..🌲
@AsherTree Thank you, and that is so nice to hear. I admit I felt a little awkward like "this place isn't meant for that, don't waste these people's time". I'm glad I'm not the only one who's just a bit lonely at times.

Oh that's a tough one because it changes a lot! I think currently it's an unreleased song Cinematique by Tobias Forge.
I also used to be a part of 7cups when years ago, and am back again seeking a sense of community and belonging. I have never had a large social group, I'm not sure I'm built for that. Having a place to let it all out and be vulnerable is very freeing. So glad you're here with us!!!
@haley0844 Thank you, it's so nice to not feel alone. I've never had a ton of friends but I now only have very shaky/infrequent links to a handful of people. I don't think I could handle a big thriving social life, but I crave something beyond very surface level talk sometimes.

@blackswan404 It's wild but even just saying it and having responses in a similar boat has already made me feel a bit better. Hopefully things start to look up in that department for us.
