I found 7 Cups on google!

I found out about 7Cups on Google Play Store actually xD

I was searching for more helping people apps as I was already member on another one and I realized there are so many others but none of them is as amazing as 7Cups. I've decided to sign up as a Listener and start my path here.

I wish I would have found out about it sooner.

This is super strange, but as I was applying for jobs I came across a job for interning with 7 cups! I read the description and thought it would be an amazing opportunity! I now tell everyone who will listen about it!

I found 7 cups through Google when I did a search for chat support. I can't get in to see my therapist, hardly ever and I'm going through an extremely difficult time at work. So difficult that even a "normal" person would be really struggling. I quickly glanced at the top several chats Google suggested but I kept getting pulled to try out 7 cups. It was "calling to me." I clicked on it and read and watched for a few days before making an account. Then I started to slowly participate. I'm on day 9 now and learning SO MUCH! From knowing that everyone is supported w open arms, no matter how small or dig the issue is from the biggest realization of all that I'm not alone. That there's so many ppl out there going through the same struggles as I am! That I'm not alone. I am still fun shy and not every experience on here has been perfectly positive but I think I might have found s place where I belong.

Thank you everyone !!! And thank you 7 cups. I really look forward to seeing what I can learn.

Now to find a phone chat so I can chat and heal/grow or build friendships while I do projects or cook, etc. that would be a dream come true.

But for now, this is the best place for me. :)

I originally came across 7 cups of tea as a member looking for some support on google, best discovery EVER!:)

I originally found 7 Cups about 4 months ago on an evening when I got home from work feeling particularly low. I knew I was at or nearing a tipping point, and all I could think to do was get on Google and type "I need help".

I don't remember the name of the first listener I talked to (although as I'm typing this I'm thinking maybe I should log into my member account and send them a very heartfelt thank you) and I don't particularly remember what we talked about, but I do remember two things:

1. They gave me the space to say what I needed to say, without judgement and without trying to impart any advice.
2. The one question I distinctly remember asking was "How long can I talk to you for?", and their response was "As long as you need to".

For someone feeling lost and alone and unsure where to turn, there's not much more you can ask for to salve your weary mind and heart.

7 Cups doesn't get all the credit, but it has been an integral part of making sure I tipped firmly back to the side of strength and happiness and love.

And it's because of the support I received as a member that three weeks later I decided to become a listener, to do as much as I can to give back to this amazing community that has done so much for me, and to the many members and guests who may be in the same boat I was in, or an even leakier boat.

I was looking on Google for someone to talk to about some problems I was going through and 7 Cups was on the top of the list so I thought I'd check it out. The first listener I talked to was really nice and helpful so I decided to keep coming back, and now I'm on here almost everyday! :) <3
