Hi, I came here to find community and use the tools I have learned in therapy to help others. I am trying to complete an internship and need to be able to effectively communicate with others about their feelings.
@competentSunshine2284 Welcome to 7cups, I know you'll get there!
@competentSunshine2284 Welcome!!! What has been the most helpful thing that you’ve learned in therapy?

Hi everyone 👋 I’m Spirit, I discovered and joined the community a few days ago.
I’ve spent the last 10 years studying the cause and treatment of suffering - a quest for hope and understanding after a long struggle to find my place in the world.
While I’m fascinated by all areas of psychology and human experience, I found my deepest connection and understanding came after discovering Jung’s collective unconscious, Zen philosophy, and the mythology of ancient cultures.
I’d love to connect with anyone with similar interests, and I’m delighted to be here amongst you.
@Spirit0ftheM0untain Welcome to 7cups Spirit, so glad to have you here! You sound like a deeply intellectual person with grounding interests, they sound so genuinely interesting😊 In fact, I might just look into them myself after hearing you talk about them. Hope you have a wonderful stay here, and trust me, I'm sure our community would love to engage with you on this topic💙
@IvoryNotes thank you! 🙏 If I can ever help you in your exploration please don’t hesitate to ask :)
@Spirit0ftheM0untain
Hi, agree! I've studied yoga and vedanta philosophy on and off for many years. There's something very grounding about ancient philosophy. We have a lot of untapped healing power within us this all points it's not outside ourselves.
@SpiritOftheMOuntain
Welcome, I've never considered myself spiritual but since joining Cups late December I am questioning that. I do resonate with Buddhist philosophy and your post has sparked my inquisitive mind, thank you.
Hi, I joined as a listener on 14 Feb 26, I joined because I want to help people, I was a Samaritan but I feel better at being a typing listen, I look forward to helping anyone who need help.
@comfortingWaterfall150 Hello! So glad to have you here🤗

@Heather225
Hi everyone 🌼!! My name is Val, and I’m new here. I joined 7 Cups because I believe in the power of talking and listening sometimes just having someone who truly hears you can make a huge difference. I hope to connect with people, learn from their experiences, and offer support wherever I can.
As a listener, I signed up because of my passion in psychology and genuinely wanting to help others feel heard and understood, without judgment. I know that life can get overwhelming at times, and I hope to create a safe space for anyone who needs to share their thoughts or feelings. I’m here to listen, offer empathy, and just be a supportive presence. 💛🫂
@goldenSun4688
Welcome, Val!🌼 Your energy already feels so kind and supportive. I love your perspective on listening without judgment, that’s what makes this space so special. Excited to have you here!
Thank you so much 😊💛! That means a lot. I’m really excited to be here and to support others in any way I can. I love that this space is all about listening and understanding feels nice to be part of a community like this!
@warmhaven44
Welcome to Cups, sorry but my thumbs are tired and I'm missing too many corrections hence too many typos. If I'm on Cups much longer my treadmill might refuse me ð¤ªð¤ª
Thank you so much 💛😊!!<3
@warmhaven444 Welcome to 7 Cups, Val! 😁 How are you finding your experience so far?
Welcome to 7 Cups, Val!
Welcome to 7 cups!!
Hello everyone, so cool to see you join us! I'm naturalDancer143, but you can call me Cece if you want. I've not been a member for long, but I've already learnt so much through communication and listening - it's a wonderful community for those of us who want to talk <3 Hope to see those of you reading this around, finding the service useful, and progressing! Welcome, once again, to a lovely community.
Ah well, I clicked post too soon... I signed up because I know what it is to feel alone sometimes and am always a person who is very eager to help. Additionally, though, I've always been a listener for my friends. When I was little, I used to pretend to have my own "TV show" to cheer my friends up about their concerns. Although I don't do it that often now, I wanted to give in other ways, and 7cups was the perfect opportunity to do that.
@naturalDancer143 Hi Cece! 💛
Your story is so touching, especially the TV show part. You’ve clearly always had a natural gift for lifting others up. It’s wonderful that you’re using that here now. So glad you’re part of this community😁
@naturalDancer143 Hey Cece 👋 welcome to 7 Cups! You sound like a deeply empathetic person, and you must be a huge support for members here 😁

trying and kinda of failing but still trying to be the best version of myself
take care
@bluewhite1972
Nooo don’t say failing 😭 you’re literally out here trying and that already counts for so much 🥰
Becoming the best version of yourself isn’t a straight line — it’s more like a chaotic little scribble and you’re doing just fine 👻
Proud of you always. Take care too 😎
@curiousbookishness
thanks I light the angle about not a straight line
it’s like climbing a mountain lots of ups and sometimes so big steps and the odd section of flat or even down, but whatever don’t fall off.
