International Women’s Day 2026: Give to Gain
by SoulfullyAButterfly
Last post
March 8th
...See more This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Give to Gain,” a campaign that emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. The idea is simple but powerful: when we give encouragement, empathy, and help to others, we often gain connection, strength, and growth ourselves. On 7 Cups, this happens every day. A supportive reply, a kind message, or simply listening without judgment can make someone feel less alone. Even small acts of care can create ripple effects across the community. The Give to Gain theme reminds us that support is not one-sided. When we show up for others, we also gain: * A sense of purpose * Stronger connections with others * New perspectives and shared wisdom * A more compassionate community You don’t need perfect advice to help someone. Often, being present, listening, and showing kindness is more than enough. Let’s reflect together: 1) What is one small way you’ve given support to someone recently? 2) What did you gain from that experience? 3) What is one way you have supported another woman - or been supported by one - that made a real difference in your life? Thank you for being part of a community where every act of support matters. When we give to each other, we all grow stronger together.

"Breaking Barriers: A Girl's Rap Dream"
by Newton420
Last post
March 3rd, 2025
...See more I am just a young Pakistani girl with dreams that might seem too big for people around me. But to me, these dreams are my whole world. I’m 16 years old now, but I started rapping when I was just 10. At first, my parents were supportive, and there was no problem. But as I grew older, things changed. The people close to me, even my family, began to laugh at me. They didn’t understand. In our society, it's rare for girls to dream so big. We’re told to limit our ambitions, to stay within boundaries, to follow paths that are "acceptable." But I refuse to let go of my dream. Every single day, I work on myself—pushing harder, improving my skills, and building my confidence. It’s not easy. There are days when I feel like giving up, but I remind myself that my dreams are worth the fight. I want to show the world, especially our society, that girls can dream big. That we have the strength and courage to not only dream but to make those dreams come true. One day, I want to stand tall as a professional rapper, not just for me, but for every girl who has ever been told that her dreams are too big or that she should settle for less. I want to prove that girls like me, with the right passion and determination, can do anything. Please pray for me, that one day I will be able to show the world that nothing, not even society’s judgments, can stop a girl from achieving her dreams.

Introducing Myself.

...See more Hello everyone, I m Mindful II recently joined as a new forum supporter for the women's issues subcommunity and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a male ally who's been dedicated to women's empowerment for some time now, in real life. My aim is to help create a safe and supportive space for women in this community. Why did I become an ally? Well, it stems from witnessing far too much violence against women in my life, which deeply affected me. I could feel the pain of the women around me and beyond. After spending days researching the issues women face regularly in our patriarchal society, I felt overwhelmed but determined to make a difference. Since then, I've been working towards empowering women, both online and offline. Thank you for welcoming me, and I look forward to contributing positively to this community. //MindfulJourney22//

...See more Hey lovelies! 🥰 My name is Kayla 🌸 I just wanted to introduce myself and tell y'all a little bit about me. TW: SEXUAL TRAUMA To start off, I am a mom to 3 wonderful little kiddos! They are currently 5, 5, and 6. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a bearded dragon, and 2 turtles. I am a recovering addict, currently 2.5 years. My sober date is June 8th, 2021. I have been through a lot of trauma in my life. It all started when I was 6 years old. My adoptive father sexually, emotionally, and physically abused me from 6-13. My supposed biological father then did the same from 12-17. After I had my son at 18, I went through a few relationships that turned violent as well. Through everything though, I have kept my head held high and every time I get knocked down, I get back up. I also have a bunch of health issues as well. I struggle with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), Secondary Infertility, Hypotension, Vasovagal Syncope, 3 different heart conditions, and a whole long list of other medical issues. My point in telling all of you this is: I have been through a lot. I am very sweet and kind. And now y'all know that you guys can talk to me about anything that you need to! My inbox is always open to anyone who needs a listening ear 💕If you message me when I am offline, I will get back to you as soon as I can.
