International Women’s Day 2026: Give to Gain
by SoulfullyAButterfly
Last post
March 8th
...See more This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Give to Gain,” a campaign that emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. The idea is simple but powerful: when we give encouragement, empathy, and help to others, we often gain connection, strength, and growth ourselves. On 7 Cups, this happens every day. A supportive reply, a kind message, or simply listening without judgment can make someone feel less alone. Even small acts of care can create ripple effects across the community. The Give to Gain theme reminds us that support is not one-sided. When we show up for others, we also gain: * A sense of purpose * Stronger connections with others * New perspectives and shared wisdom * A more compassionate community You don’t need perfect advice to help someone. Often, being present, listening, and showing kindness is more than enough. Let’s reflect together: 1) What is one small way you’ve given support to someone recently? 2) What did you gain from that experience? 3) What is one way you have supported another woman - or been supported by one - that made a real difference in your life? Thank you for being part of a community where every act of support matters. When we give to each other, we all grow stronger together.

...See more 🌷 Hello, beautiful souls! 👋 Our weekly Women's Circle is happening Saturday, September 19th, 2026 at 10 am EDT in the Support Session Room for adults on 7 Cups. Topic: Unlearning Objectification From a young age, many of us are taught to view ourselves through the eyes of others. We learn to monitor our bodies, our expressions, and our movements to ensure we are "acceptable" or "attractive." This constant self-monitoring is exhausting, and it can make us feel like our value is tied to how we look rather than who we are. This week, we gather to explore the process of unlearning objectification. We will talk about the difference between being seen as a person and being looked at as an image, the mental toll of constant self-monitoring, and the radical act of reclaiming our bodies for our own joy, strength, and comfort. Whether you are deep in the work of unlearning these patterns or just starting to notice the weight of objectification, your experience is valid.  ❤️ Need to check your time zone? Use this converter: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html 🌷 This session is a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where women come together to share their stories and hold space for each other. 🌷 🌱 Whether you'd like to contribute your voice or simply listen in, all women are welcome. Come as you are. We'd love to have you with us! 🌱 Looking forward to seeing you, – Faerie 🌸🧚‍♀️

...See more 🌷 Hello, beautiful souls! 👋 Our weekly Women's Circle is happening Saturday, September 5th, 2026 at 10 am EDT in the Support Session Room for adults on 7 Cups. Topic: The Friendship Shift: Navigating Loneliness and Connection as Women As we grow older, our friendships often change. The easy, constant connection of school days fades, and life’s demands (careers, families, moves) can pull us apart. Many of us find ourselves feeling surprisingly lonely, even if we are surrounded by acquaintances or busy lives. This week, we gather to explore the evolving landscape of female friendship. We will talk about the grief of outgrowing friends, the courage it takes to make new connections as adults, and how to find meaningful depth in a world of surface-level interactions. You don't have to have a huge social circle to be happy. You just need to know that your desire for connection is valid, and that you are not the only one feeling this shift. Whether you are navigating a friendship breakup, trying to make new friends, or simply looking to deepen your existing bonds, your story matters. Your connection matters. ⏰ Need to check your time zone? The Support Session Room will open approximately 5 minutes before the start of the discussion.  Topic: Breaking the Silence: Understanding and Healing from Domestic Violence Domestic violence is a widespread issue that affects millions of women, yet it often remains hidden in the shadows. It is not just about physical harm; it encompasses a complex web of emotional, psychological, and financial control that can be incredibly difficult to escape. This week, we gather to break the silence. We will explore the signs of abuse, the dynamics of power and control, and the profound barriers survivors face. Most importantly, we will discuss safety planning, the path to healing, and how we can build a community of support that replaces shame with compassion. Whether you are a survivor, a supporter, or someone seeking to understand, your voice matters. ...See more 🌷Hello, beautiful souls! 👋 Our weekly Women's Circle is happening Saturday, August 8th, 2026 at 10 am EDT in the Support Session Room for adults on 7 Cups. Topic: Unapologetically Female: Owning Our Space and Our Voice For so many of us, growing up meant learning to be small. We were taught to be polite, to not make waves, to smile when we were angry, and to apologize for taking up space. But there is a profound power in dropping the mask and showing up exactly as we are. This week, we gather to explore the liberation of being unapologetically female. We will talk about the fear of being "too much," the exhaustion of constantly shrinking to make others comfortable, and the courage it takes to finally speak our truth. You don't need permission to be loud, to be angry, or to take up room at the table. You just need to remember that your voice matters and your presence is valid. Whether you are just starting to find your voice or you are learning to own the space you already occupy, your story belongs here. You are not "too much." You are enough. 💕 ❤️ Need to check your time zone? ...See more 🌷 Hello, beautiful souls! 👋 Our weekly Women's Circle is happening Saturday, August 1st, 2026 at 10 am EDT in the Support Session Room for adults on 7 Cups. Topic: The Shadow Side of Healing: When Trauma Resurfaces We often hope or expect that healing is a straight line upward. But for many of us, the journey looks more like a spiral. Just when we feel we've found solid ground, an old wound can suddenly reopen, bringing with it a flood of emotions that feel like they belong to the past. This week, we create space to honor the non-linear reality of recovery. We will explore the "shadow side" of healing: the triggers that catch us off guard, the frustration of feeling like we're taking two steps back, and the courage it takes to face the pain we thought we had left behind again.  Whether you are in the thick of a resurfacing episode, trying to make sense of a sudden wave of emotion, or simply looking to understand your journey better, your experience is valid. You are not a step backward. You are not alone. 🌷 ⏰ Need to check your time zone? ...See more 🌷Hello, beautiful souls! 👋 Our weekly Women's Circle is happening Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at 10 am EDT in the Support Session Room for adults on 7 Cups. Topic: The Art of Grief: Navigating Loss Beyond Death We often think of grief only in the context of death. But for so many of us, the deepest grief comes from the losses that leave no body to bury: the loss of a dream, the loss of a friendship that faded, the loss of our health, the loss of a version of ourselves we thought we'd be, or the slow erosion of a relationship. This week, we create a sacred space to honor these "invisible" losses. We will explore the grief of the "what could have been," the pain of the slow goodbye, and the unique challenge of mourning something that society doesn't recognize. You don't need a funeral to grieve. You just need a safe space to be heard. Whether you are grieving the end of a chapter, the fading of a body, or the drifting of a loved one, your grief is valid. Your pain is real. And you are not alone. ❤️ Need to check your time zone? ...See more 🌷 Hello, beautiful souls! 👋 Our weekly Women's Circle is happening Saturday, July 18th, 2026 at 10 am EDT in the Support Session Room for adults on 7 Cups. Topic: The 'Good Girl' Syndrome: Unlearning the Need to Please We all know the "Good Girl"—the girl who always said yes, who never wanted to cause a scene, who grew up learning that being "good" meant pleasing others. But as women, we often carry that inner voice into adulthood, and it can become a silent trap that keeps us exhausted, resentful, and disconnected from ourselves. This week, we explore The 'Good Girl' Syndrome; the pressure to always appear strong, capable, and perfect, and the need to say "yes" when you want to say "no." We'll talk about the origins of people-pleasing, the cost of saying "yes" when you want to "no," and how to set boundaries that honor your needs. Whether you're currently struggling with people-pleasing, or you're looking back at a pattern that has shaped your life, this is your space to share, reflect, and empower one another. 💛 Remember: You are not a "good girl" because you please others. You are worthy of love and respect simply because you exist. Your "no" is a valid boundary. ❤️ Need to check your time zone? Topic: Women and Caregiving Women are often expected to be caregivers; to children, partners, parents, and others. This unpaid labor takes a profound toll on our mental and physical health, our time, our social lives, and our sense of self. But the burden shouldn't fall on us alone. This week, we explore Women and Caregiving; the invisible labor, the "always available" expectation, and the ways caregiving shapes our identity. We'll talk about the guilt of taking time for yourself, the financial and social costs, and how to set boundaries that honor your needs while still caring for others. Whether you're currently caregiving or looking back at a caregiving role that shaped you, this is your space to share, reflect, and heal. 💛 Remember: You are not defined by what you give.
