Originating in 1926 as "Negro History Week" through the vision of Carter G. Woodson, this month has grown into a global celebration of achievement and a vital time for reflection. This centennial anniversary is a powerful reminder of a century of progress, the strength of the human spirit, and the vital role of Black voices in our shared journey toward mental wellness and equality. We Want to Hear from You: This 100 year milestone is most meaningful when it is celebrated by our community. We are inviting everyone, Listeners and Members alike, to help us fill our forums with stories and reflections that honor this legacy. Do you have a post or a story to share? We are looking for community-led content, such as: * Highlights of Black psychologists, activists, or thinkers over the last century who have transformed mental health. * Stories on how history and heritage shape your modern journey toward healing and resilience. * Art, Poetry, and Wisdom! ...See more I don't know why everything happens only to me, as if moved across the country was not hard enough. I feel like im the most unluckiest person lives on earth. Okie before you guys say im whiny, maybe a bit Iam, it all started with my internship im a straight A student but was dumped into nowhere, where everyone else got good placement options and then I just went to washroom by the time I came back my bedroom door got shut and stuck, I could not open it, 2 days after that I just went to a shop lost my bus pass then the rain started pouring in so I decided to walk through the rain for 4 KM, and the worst case was that I was waiting in the signal and 5 cars litterally ran the water over me non stop, these all are very small things that happened. There is lot more that I cannot write here..but feels like universe doesn't like me.😮‍💨

I will do my best to help you and clarify everything Insha'Allah (God willing) 😊. The Holy Quran invites all of humanity to reflect, ask questions, and discover the true message of Islam. Open dialogue and the pursuit of knowledge are encouraged in the deen (religion) of peace and mercy, explicitly commanding in Surah An-Nahl [16:43] "فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ" Translation of meaning: So ask the people of the message if you do not know This divine invitation emphasizes that faith should be built upon understanding rather than ignorance. By learning and exploring, everyone can find answers to their questions and experience the beauty of Islamic guidance. Additionally, the first word of the Holy Quran revealed to the Prophet Muhammad صلّى الله عليه وسلم (peace be upon him) was "إقرأ"  "Iqra" Surah Al-Alaq [96:1] which means "Read" or "Recite." This command establishes that Islam is built upon a lifelong pursuit of education, intellect, and profound reflection, inviting everyone to openly question and discover its truth. Furthermore, the invitation is inclusive of all, as knowledge isn't limited to reading but also comes through listening and understanding as stated in Surah ق Qaf [50:37] إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيد Translation of meaning: Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind]. ...See more Hello there👋 I am very glad to finally bring my Horizons series to life and share it with you. Alhamdulillah (thank Allah) الحمد لله 🤍 This project is so precious and special to me ✨. I put a lot of time and energy into making it unique with our unique journeys.  It is an opportunity for reflection, meditation and thus finding the flow in life.  I believe that the purpose from our lives is to achieve the noble purpose itself and not simply to exist. In Shakespeare's theatre Hamlet, Ophelia says "Life is too precious to be trusted to uncertainties". It is Indeed.  I created this series aiming to provide a peaceful place where we can search for meaning and hopefully find it.  لنجد الفنارة التي سترشدنا إلى بر الأمان. We will go on time-hunting (yes we will catch the time haha ) life-climbing and many diverse tours in the different communities and notably inside our thinking Insha'Allah (Allah willing). Our tours are enjoyable, peaceful and kind. We will make discoveries and clear misconceptions about ourselves which will help us understand more and more. Each corner of life is important to take care of. In a word we will find NEW HORIZONS 🌄🌌 Let's find our paths. Light it. Embrace it. Seek guidance through it.  Horizons clear our minds.  Clearing our minds heals our souls and lights our journeys 🕯️💡 📍Every horizon will have its discussion about the main points that characterize it. ...See more 💫 Summer reflections and stories ✨ Hello Hello Welcome! 🤗 As the summer of 2026 comes to a close and autumn settles in, @cheerfulKiwi1776 and I decided to host this special event in order to cherish the beautiful memories we’ve created and reflect on the lessons learned through life's challenges. We each navigated our own metaphorical kayak over these past three months—and now we want to hear about your voyage: * How was your ride this summer?  * Did you enjoy the journey? * Did you find your way to calm waters? 🌊 * What is the most valuable lesson or takeaway you're bringing into fall? 🍂 This is a safe, open space to express yourself freely and connect with one another. Share your story however you like—write a poem, a piece of theatre 🎭, share a drawing🎨 🖌️, a map 🗺️, tell a story, or try something entirely new.
