When recovering from anorexia, it's very important that you don't restrict your food intake- this includes types of foods, quantities, or the times that you eat. After restricting for so long and lacking many nutrients you need, your body will of course crave food, and lots of it. By responding to your body's hunger signals, both mental and physical, you can help heal your body and overcome the extreme hunger (if that's something you struggle with). If you keep restricting, however, the hunger will essentially build up and you'll feel the urge to binge. Although binging is something you may want to avoid, try not to label big meals as binging, even if it's more than you'd normally eat. You're exiting a period of extreme restriction and there is absolutely nothing wrong with giving your body the food it needs to recover! Keep in mind that your perspective on food is a bit warped right now, and what you consider an excessive amount probably isn't as much as you think. Good luck!
