Moving on is the hardest part when going through a break up. Try to get your mind off of it by doing something that you enjoy the most, for example, go watch a movie, or listen to your favorite album, or go hiking, etc and try to surround yourself with your family and friends because having a support system is the best for you. Get a closure, try to accept the things that didn't work out for you and evolve from there.

I have found that life is like monkey bars...you must let go in order to move in. Come to terms with whatever is holding you back, live in the present, and learn to forgive.

The old saying of "if you fall off the horse, get up and get back on" couldn't be more true. You have to pick up the pieces (if there are any) and put them back where they belong. Before you know it, you will have made more progress moving on than you thought!

You can't always control what happens but when things do happen, you can only add that to your portfolio of experiences and learn from it. Accept the things that happened and even mourn over them but never cling on; it will eat at you. Find the things and people in life that you're truly passionate about and find ways to make yourself move on for their sake.

Personally, I think the best way to do this is to let yourself go slowly. Don't rush into things and don't think you need certain things to be done at certain times. Go through steps, plan carefully, and breathe. Surround yourself with loving people.

There are many ways to move on. I have found it best to just keep busy. Have a good cry if you need it then keep busy with your friends or with your job if you have one.

To know that time will heal things is the hardest to accept. But that acceptance is what is most important about moving on. Along with that, one should try to busy themselves around things they like and things that make them happy. Happiness is contagious so being around happy people also helps a great deal!

Think of something positive. Even if the situation is the worst you've ever been in. I know many people will experience something horrible and get angry because they don't why it happened to them. I honestly couldn't tell you that either, but I can tell you one thing, time will help heal it. Whatever it may be that happened to you, eventually everything will be ok. You can always keep the event with you but don't make it an emotional reoccurrence.
