Hello! I'm glad you've found me on 7 Cups of Tea. I'm a trained active listener. I love to support people struggling with depression, anxiety, and panic disorders. I also love to help people struggling with eating disorders and self harm behaviors.
I enjoy reading, writing, playing instruments, and cooking. Most of all, I enjoy supporting others and helping others find the beauty in life.
I have overcome many challenges in life and would love to help by listening to you. If I'm online, please feel free to start a chat. If I'm offline, then send me a message and we can set up a time to connect.
To keep things balanced and have boundaries set, I have sessions last for 30-45 minutes.
Glad you are here!
-Peace, Love, and Hope.
Hello~ You may call me Abbi. I am a listener on 7 Cups and I'd like to help if I may. I'm a good listener in the real world, so I hope I can do well here as well. Also, I'd really appreciate the feedback on my ability to be a listener. Constructive criticism never hurt anyone who wishes to improve.
But about me: I am a huge anime fan. In a casual conversation, I don't mind discussing good animes. :) I also enjoy video games and books. When I am not here, I am a waitress, and my opening line here is so cheesy because of it. xD Anyway, it's a pleasure to be here and to help anyone who requests my assistance. May you all feel better, stay wonderful, or both~ :)
Not taking new chats!!
Piney is not available as she is off living her life. Many apologies to all the people who I have talked to and since have stopped. I know how rude and selfish that is of me, but it's really for the best of everyone involved. As always, my love goes out to everyone.
Stand firm, and you will win life.
Hello and welcome to 7cups!
You can call me Blue and I am a Verified Listener!
I'm here with the hopes of helping, even if that means making a difference in the life of just one individual, even for just a tiny moment.
I am in my mid 20's. I have experience with NGO's and other aiding societies. I have had a fair share of unpleasant experiences so far and have learned that it is okay to feel lost and purposeless in life and that nothing is permanent !
Always know that opening up to someone and showing how vulnerable you are is not a sign of weakness, but that of immense strength! and hence, I am here for you, if you ever feel the need to talk without having to worry about being judged.
You're not alone, even if that is how it may seem like.
I cannot promise to make all your worries go way, no one can promise you that, but sometimes talking about it can help you identify the reason behind why you feel what you feel, which gives a sense of clarity and peace.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
I am usually here around 10PM IST // 12:30 PM EDT on weekdays. But you can contact me anytime because I would LOVE to hear from you!
If I am not around, please feel free to leave me a message, and I'll try to get back as soon as I can.

Hey, welcome to my Listener profile. Before continuing on I would like for you to take a minute to close your eyes, and take a deep breath. You may not be feeling great right now, and that's what's brought you here today to 7Cups, and to my Listener profile. First I'm going to give you some generic information about myself, who I am, and why I'm here, so you can get to know me. Then I'll give you the different kinds of chats I may be able to help with. After that I will talk about my own personal experiences, in order to give credit to the chats listed above and help you get to know me a little better in a way that wil hopefully make you feel more comfortable sharing and talking to me. Although if not, that is completely okay too, as not every Listener-Member pairing will work, and I want you to have the best possible experience here at 7 Cups. Lastly, I'll talk about more fun things such as my hobbies, interests and things of less consequence.Basic InformationCurrently awaiting a username change.Hello, my name is Nate, I am a 17 year old autistic, transgender man from Scotland. I joined 7 Cups of Tea in July 2016, but have been inactive since about January-Feburary this year. This was because of the personal issues I was facing including gender doubt, family issues, the transition from school to university, compassion fatigue, andmy own mental health. I started listening when I thought I was a woman, but have since came out as transgender . My pronouns are he/him. :)After my long break, I am hopefully here again to stay.I've been through a lot of things in my life, that have not been pleasant and have even changed me for the worst. I joined 7 Cups as a way to utilise these experiences in a way that can create a positive impact on the world. I thought that my knowledge and experiences, good and bad, could hopefully be something that could help others understand their situations, their own thoughts and identities, and ulitimately, even prevent people having to struggle and suffer in some of these ways. I am back here today, as someone who has even more stories to share and who is hopefully more mature and thoughtful, because I still hold these same valuesChats (a non-exhaustive list, as I'll always be prepared to help someone, no matter their situation):Family issuesAnxiety and panicLow mood and depressionMood swingsTrauma: r*pe, and sexual assaultTrauma: Growing up in a violent/abusive householdBorderline Personality DisorderNeurodiversity, and the issues surrounding usLGBT+ Self-harmMy ExperiencesI have experienced issues relating to all of the above chats. I'm going to keept this part as short and non-descriptive as possible in order to avoid triggering readers. If you would like me to change any part of it because you find it triggering, don't hesitate to message me. :)I've had a lot of issues with my family, for many reasons. My parents were never the best people, my dad was always violent and my mother manipulative. I lived with my sister for almost 2 years because of this, but she and her partner also became cruel. My LGBT+ identities, and neurodiversity have also played a role in my family struggles. Intermeditate family arguments and such have also left most of my family estranged for most of my life.I have also struggled a lot with anxiety, and mood. As a neurodivergent person, the world is inherently anxiety-provoking, and I experience anxiety almost constantly, more so in new enviroments, situtations, or in social situtations. I also struggle with low mood, and mood swings/emotional impermenace, relating to my personality disorder. I've had to work really hard to get to where I am today, and I hope I can help other people to cope with their symptoms and improve their quality of life.I'm a trauma survivor, as previously mentioned I grew up around violent and manipulative parents, and have been in more than one abusive situtation. I am also a partner rape survivor. Trauma is likely the reason that I have BPD, which I am currently in the process of diagnosis with. Borderline Personality Disorder, and other Cluster-B disorders, is a wholely misunderstood illness, and if you'd like to learn more about it, feel free to drop me a message just to chat. Because of BPD I have struggle with intense emotional mood swings, attatchment issues, impulsive behaviour, dissociation, a belief that I am truly evil, worst of all I've been... completely anti-recovery (and that wasn't a choice. I wanted to want to get better.), and so much more. I want any other borderlines out there to know that you are not inherently evil, or abusive, or Bad. Your illness is valid. You are worth it. None of it is fair, and it's scary, and I'm sorry. But we got this. Together? Maybe? As previously mentioned, I'm neurodivergent- Autistic. If you want to have a rant about Autism $peaks, or infodump about your new special interest, or have a compassionate ear for an ableist experience you've had- I'm your man. :)I've also already said I'm a transgender man, I'm also pan-ace (panromantic, asexual). So I've.... got a fair share of experiences with LGBT+-phobia, and many other issues. I've battled particularly with internalised transphobia, a phenomenon I've dubbed Doubt Dysphoria, and unaccepting family. If you're experiencing gender doubt, erasure, trans/ace/biphobia within or outwith the community, any of the issues faced above, any other LGBT issues, or just want a friendly LGBT+ person to talk to about anything, I would feel honoured to help you with anything as best as I can.Self-harm sucks. I first started self-harming when I was 11 years old, and sometimes still struggle with it to this day. If you need to vent, help with creating or performing healthy coping mechanisms, or just distracted, you can always send me a message.I've also struggled with stress, chronic pain (eye pain, carpal tunnel syndrome), and bullying. With all of that out the way, I hope you feel more comfortable and at ease with talking to someone who's been through issues that may mirror issues you've faced or are facing yourself, and now...The Not-So Heavy StuffSo I'm a 17 year old boy, and I really like Disney movies, anime, and cartoons. I like reading a lot, and writing although I'm in a permenant state of writer's block.I'm incredibly enthusiastic about Lush bath bombs.I collect Monster High dolls. The movie Trainspotting, and it's sequel T2 Trainspotting, is my favouritve thing of all time. I have both the Choose Life monolouges memorised.ASK ME ABOUT SHARKS.The highest level qualification I did in high school was Advanced Higher Drama (which is like Year 1 at uni here), and I got an A even though I can't act. I did my dissertation on minorities in theatre.I'm currently studying English Studies and Psychology at university, and I hope to work with neurodivergent children, as a teacher or in some other form.I have 7 cats. Activity Scheduling Activities can be connected to the way you feel. If you track feelings of depression, you may discover that when you are depressed you are more passive and less active. Following the observation that depressed people tend to stop doing pleasurable activities, depression treatments often emphasize increasing the weekly number of pleasurable activities. Additional ways to improve mood:
Surround yourself with people who have a positive impact on you
Invest in friendships and have a “go to” person that you can trustBecome more forgiving - forgive yourself and forgive others
Build on areas of strength and note evidence for new beliefs that replace old negative beliefs (praise yourself for things you accomplish)Keep a gratitude journal

Understanding what depression is begins the journey toward recovering from depression. You may not realize that depression symptoms are not just emotional. Depression is much more than a low mood, feeling sad, and being irritable. There are cognitive (e.g., self-criticism and hopeless thoughts), behavioral (e.g., isolating from others and having difficulty ’getting started’ with activities), and physical (e.g., sleep problems and change in appetite) symptoms as well. The mind and body are very much connected, and the way that depression affects someone demonstrates that strong connection. Learn more about what depression is by reading the Depression Guide on 7 Cups of Tea’s website. Hello, I'm Jenna. I've been here for 5 years and it has been an impactful time in my life both for my own well-being and having the privilege to support others. My main focus on chat topics is anxiety, bipolar depression, DID, and trauma chats. You can find a full list of topics I support down below under categories. I work almost non-stop at my real life job which unfortunately has a huge impact on my availability. For this reason, I am not able to take on long-term members at this time until I am able to find a balance. So, we can have a 1 time chat if I am available. ♥I only take scheduled chats for 1 hour a day with current long-term members♥

You have just landed on Nora’s profile, after falling down the rabbit-hole! Here’s the gist: Nora is a very loud individual who is a master in procrastination and making the creepiest of faces in pictures! (intentionally or not).
Nora enjoys reading, talking to people, learning as well as trying new things, speaking about herself in third person and consuming an unhealthy amount of nutella! She excels at the latter!
Nora would be thrilled to listen to you and have you talk about anything! She’d love to hear your story and anything you’re willing to share! She tries her best not to judge anyone and your secret, is her secret, she won’t tell anyone! You can talk to Nora if she’s online, offline, busy or whatever else her status might be and she will definitely come back to you as soon as possible, which is pretty soon, since she’s addicted to having her 7 Cups of tea daily!
Fun fact! Nora thinks puns, dad jokes and hugs make the world go round. She also likes to use One direction references, even though she isn't a fan!

Hello! I am 19 years old verified listener girl. I may seem young but I went through a lot in my life - to begin with dealing with bullies at school and ending with help for a friend who has failed in committing suicide. I also lost a lot of close friends in my life, had tough experience dealing with a grief and always been that one girl who has a different way of thinking what caused me a loneliness feeling. LGBTQ+ is also my topic and I know a lot about issues related to it so feel free to talk with me about this! I am member (demi - homo - sexual girl) and supporter for anyone who is part of this lovely family. Also, I know a lot of about sexual abuse and I am helping women who were raped or sexual assaulted. If you feel like you need this kind of support, feel free to PM me or visit rainn.org. Also, I am trained in suicide and I am working in the suicide hotline, although because of site rules, I am not allowed to assist you if you are in crisis. So basically you can talk to me about everything you want and I will try my best to understand and help you. Just remember that 7Cups is NON-JUDGMENTAL zone so I will never judge or insult you. Maybe I am not the professional one, but I am a good listener and a good friend if You need one. I am here just to help you to feel better so feel free to text me if I am online or offline. I will answer as soon as I could

Me:The name Ori springs off the idea that the character in Ori and the Blind Forest never receives any gender throughout the whole game. This is why I've chosen that name as I'm not sure at all about my gender.
It would be great if you could refer to me as 'she' (or 'he').
As you can probably tell, I'm a passionate gamer that just so happens to be interested in studying computer science. When I'm not diving into the deepths of video games or programming languages, I'm playing the guitar or very rarely read or draw.
