I was feeling similar earlier. Emotional,restless, sad, lonely. I made some soup and chatted with friends, and am watching golden girls. I hope you were able to get out of your funk.

Dorothy was my mom's favorite too. Rose was my favorite. She killed me with her St. Olaf stories 😄

Today I don't feel like doing anything, but I'll force myself to overcome that feeling by this afternoon. I loved the Golden Girls, by the way. I used to watch them with my mom when I was a little pea.

Tree! 👋 So good to see you! Happy TG 🦃 The day has been bad and good. Our visit with mom didn't go as good as I had hoped. She thought I was an imposter and that her "real daughter was dead." She has her good and bad days.
I enjoyed the day with my daughter and spoke to relatives over the phone. Our Turkey dinner was good. I'm already tired. I hope you had a good one.

Hey 🙂 I'm here also, and same. What are some things you're interested in? (Everyone welcome to respond, of course) I'm into older sci-fi shows. Mostly shows from the 90s. Star Trek Next Generation, Stargate sg1, and a handful of others. Somehow, it brings me security and comfort of a time before adulthood. When things were simpler, less/no responsibility, and I can escape the pressures of life, if only just to stem the tide. Do you have anything like that, or perhaps something that brings you a happier feeling?

I've been into documentaries lately. The droning on of sedate voices in the background gives me a comforted feeling.
I like documentaries too, Tree. About nature and space especially.

I like docs about space, too.
Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong time because I like oldies music and older movies. I even like the old Twilight Zones. I like video games too. I often play with my daughter, Mario, Kirby and Just Dance. My favorite all time artist is Salvador Dali.
I'm sorry you're dealing with loneliness, I hope one day you'll find great friends, maybe I could help with this situation if that's fine
