Happy New Year! I'm hoping to participate more in this subcommunity in the new year. I'll be passing the mid-30 mark in January, and I'm already worried about certain things. *sigh*

Happy early birthday
Thank you. My mum told me the plan already. This year's Chinese New Year is a day before my birthday, and we usually celebrate my Aunt's birthday on Chinese New Year's Eve. So, I was informed this morning, that we will go to my Aunt's, as they order take-out. Then, my family will celebrate my birthday a day earlier, as they already have plans with their church friends on my birthday (except I'm not included). I already expressed what I wanted to have for dinner (chose Korean Restaurant), and I plan to buy myself a piece of cake on my own birthday.

To be honest though, I'm actually a bit upset. Usually with my birthdays, we are able to celebrate on the birthday, and not earlier or later. So, with this year, when my parents have plans with their friends instead, I don't even feel like having a cake the day earlier. So, I planned to buy myself a piece of cake on my own birthday.
