I just turned 37 and I
Im almost 30! I felt too old for the other things! new here trying to learn how this works..
@Laura Hey 30 years young here what's up to my fellow 30's people!

I've been a common sight in the 35+ room since I joined here in 2016. Hard to believe that I'm not even 2 weeks out from 34.
Been through a couple career arcs, been through post-secondary twice, still haven't done the family thing yet. Gave it a good effort in 2011, but that's another post. Currently getting things rolling on the next career path, have been in contact with people since january on this one. Even if I don't make the planned one, I still have a backup that I was considering last fall. But the 'always have a backup' way of thinking has been ingrained in me since I was 12, and it's what allowed me to excel at my first career arc. I don't move on anything unless I have a backup queued up.
Hi there. I just wanted to say hi.
I guess I keep posting on the wrong forums and threads. I think a lot of members here think I'm too 'old'.
Anyway my name is Ashley and I'm 32 and I'm looking for new friends. I don't have any friends and I'm going through a terrible time right now with loneliness, everytime I reach out for help no one can help me or they are so young their advice doesn't help me.
@Ashley0626 - You are not too old. It can take a while to become comfortable with finding your way around the site, because 7 Cups has so much to offer. Maybe you'd like to try browsing listeners and then check the box for verified listener and select the age range as 35+. Then you might find someone more appropriate for you.
You can browse listeners here:
Or click on Chat on the blue bar at the top of your screen and then Browse Listeners.
You can find the Loneliness Support Community here if you'd like to check it out.
Hello!
I am 35 and new here. Just trying to find my way around.
@sncs0907 - Welcome!
Hello everyone! I just turned 32 and I've been lurking on 7cups for a couple of weeks now. I love everything to do with words and hope to be an author someday. I'm currently working through PTSD and acute anxiety. I just want to say thank you to everyone who posts encouraging things on their feeds, some of your posts have really helped me through some rough spots while I wait for my next therapy appointment. I hope everyone has the best day possible!
Good day all! I'm 32 years and working through my issues sometimes and ignoring them others. I've been diagnosed with MDD, some BP tendencies, and anxiety. Doing a lot better than I was in the past, but everyday is a new struggle. I lurk a lot in the group rooms, but I'd like to think I'm friendly and here to be supportive and find encouragement. I wish you all the best in your personal stories. It's definitely not easy but everyone is really incredible and awe inspiring. You guys are going through a lot and I just know it gets better even if it's not the better you're looking for.
