Maybe time doesn't heal all?
If the pain of betrayal trauma never really goes away, then doesn't that mean you never truly heal? its so confusing
@zeetee17
You do heal .
You do move on.
The trauma can be deep, unrelenting, and suffocating but we can come through it in time 💜💕

I've done therapy, on meds to deal with the ptsd of it (I hate taking meds). I want to get to a place where I dont need them. its been almost 4 years and I feel like pain is just now something I have to life with
@zeetee17
I'm sorry, you've been through so much 💜💖
@zeetee17 A powerful mindset shift is to visualize the worst-case scenario, What gives problems their weight is not their size, but our attachment to them.
guys, remember, to choose healing. it is not something that time gives you but an active choice to make. you actively choose healing, every waking minute. it is not given to you, but heal intentionally and make the decisions you make be counted otwards healing. Like forgiveness, you dont just forgive and then nothing happens anymore. you choose to heal by forgiving every waking minute. you forgive every single time you remember what they had done. and if you forgive, God forgives you. forgive, forget, and through that we heal. if we dont remember, we forget to be angry. we forget to be sad about the situation. but remember to forget and forgive too. i cannot heal on my own so I relied on God. Luckily my father is a God believer and the reason not to abuse anymore is because of his fear of God. Had he been an atheist he would have no fear in God and do good finally. Have some faith in the Creator who can heal. He is the only One who wounds and heals, kills and make alive. Satan is the one who made people become abusers, but also multiply our sadness because of trauma from grief of losing a loved one. Trauma is something we humans have no control over, but rely on the One who has control over every beat of your heart and your abuser's heart.
Yes and no. It takes time to learn and heal but that pain of it never goes away. Its like having a body part taken away and you still feel that part of your body, but it takes time to realize that its ok to have that pain because its normal. Healing form trauma is like a missing part of you, that you have to realize its going to be ok. Sorry if i seem rude im not its just how i type.
Some pains, like betrayal, don’t disappear completely. Healing isn't forgetting the wound; it’s learning to live again without letting it define you.
We do heal, we grow stronger and clearer.
It doesn't for some. Some people need the people involved to actually finish healing. But if those people are absent or dead it doesn't help.

@zeetee17 Time is not what heals. We are the ones who heal ourselves. It often takes a lot of time to come to terms with something and heal, which is why they say "time heals all wounds."
@zeetee17
Stay in peace, my friend.
Yes healing the body is in action.
