No Direction and I'm exhausted.
I'll just get straight to point I'm 36, single and I'm at a point where I'm just drifting. I can't find anything that I want enough to do anything about it. I've been through a range of life killing times but I'm still here. Lost both my parents to illnesses and lack of parents taking responsibility for their own. I'm exhausted mentally and emotionally from everything. I'm tired of people, drama, confrontation and being positive when the world is freaking me out into anxiety. I have health conditions that are always playing on my mind. Relationships these days just doesn't make sense. I've become numb and it's like Im giving up. I eat once a day my sleep is that I'm awake in the night and I sleep through the morning. I don't like talking as I feel like I'm fake in being interested. I use to be a people pleaser but now I'm not trying to push myself. I spend everyday alone I don't want go out or meet people.

Friend.
I am sociableBirch35 2 times because I'm 72 years old. If you don't mind I just want to bless you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. You're very much loved by our Father in heaven and I send you all the best wishes all the way from Bergen in Norway where I live to you.
From Helga.
@helgafy I’m here anytime
So Sorry to hear that. Sending you loads of love. I will pray for your wellbeing and for your days to get better. Take care ð«¶
@sociableBirch35 I truly empathise with you. Losing parents to illnesses is such a deep wound with the grief lasting for a lasting time. Your pain is valid. Your loneliness is completely understandable.
You are right. Generally speaking relationships these days are not nurturing and healthy and cause more damage than relief although I have seen exceptions where people do go out of their way to support each other and feel healed through their relationships. Pick the best option for yourself. Being single is a beautiful empowering state to be and can be lived to have a truly fulfilling life.
I'm so glad you came here and decided to seek help. Remember that there are people out there to support you and care for you in the way they know best.
I would also urge you to seek professional help as self harm is a matter only a professional is best equipped to understand and help out with.
Sleeping in the morning is okay. As long as you're able to sleep it's healthy.
Interest in life can wane out... and it can come back organically ... all you have to do is make one tiny baby step every day for your self care...
Sending you love ... you sound like a gentle sensitive soul... I hope you find a tad bit motivation to help yourself... you are worthy of it ❤️
@sociableBirch35 I’m sorry to hear about your situation. I can relate. I hope you feel better after talking about it.
@sociableBirch35 thank you for your honesty 💜 I'm so sorry to hear that you lost both of your parents, I cannot begin to imagine how that feels. I understand what you mean about feeling fake, it's easier not to talk to people at all then to say what you really feel, but this type of isolation will only add to greater feelings of anxiety and loss, It seems impossible now and might do for a time but if you start with small daily manageable tasks to get out again, it will build your confidence and not overwhelm you. Wishing the best for you and nice to meet you 💜🥰
@sociableBirch35 If I didn't know better, I'd think I wrote your post. Exactly. I literally can not make sense of the world anymore and I don't even care. I can't relate to people because any similarities are disappearing and I'm looked at like I'm crazy. There are no more manners or respect and I cant help but wonder who in their right mind wants to live to be 120? I've always been such an outgoing person who thrives on differences and knowledge and learning. Well traveled, speak 3 languages, used to throw parties all the time just because. Now I sit on the edge of the bed, and hope it gets dark pretty soon so I can go to bed. I hate myself right now. What can we do? I hope you find something to make you happy, I really do.
Okay so I completely get your point one technique that I will tell you that works for me is write down all your problems on a paper and burn that paper now take a new paper write your strength something you are good at and focus on that focus on your very moment and forget everything for a while
So sorry about that
Hugs. I'm sorry to hear you are struggling. I feel similar sometimes.
